Gross!

TwentyCups · 29/05/2017 21:36

The model is gorgeous - what a shame she's stuck wearing that!

Patriciathestripper1 · 29/05/2017 21:38

It's got to be bad when even the model looks shite it Shock

IrritableBitchSyndrome · 29/05/2017 21:40

I feel so sorry for the model. Her facial expression says it all, I think.

OhBlissOhJoy · 29/05/2017 21:49
Shock
fedupstressedout · 29/05/2017 21:53

The model looks as though she's thinking what you're all saying 😂

Bloody hideous.

IrritableBitchSyndrome · 29/05/2017 22:03

I think that's her 'what the actual fuck?' face.

elQuintoConyo · 29/05/2017 22:50

Lolz. I'll buy two: wear one, wash one.

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 29/05/2017 23:13

Yes the model is gorgeous. T-shirt, not so much! Less said, the better!

QueenMortificado · 29/05/2017 23:14

I think the model looks entirely average, not particularly pretty at all. Isn't it funny how everyone perceives looks so differently!

bibbitybobbityyhat · 29/05/2017 23:22

It looks like a joke garment. Surely they're having a giraffe?

CowParsleyNettle · 29/05/2017 23:27

Oh be the Lord, what is that? Why???

SnickersWasAHorse · 29/05/2017 23:28

Am I alone in not understanding the thing of wearing t-shirts that have logos about places you ave never been and non existent sports events?

Whiterabbitears · 30/05/2017 00:03

A frumpy t shirt with an Anne Summers nightie stuck on top, what's not to love? This is why I despair of plus size clothing because its often synthetic and just unflattering. To be fair this is awful on any size but they stick it in the bigger range, is it so people can laugh?

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 30/05/2017 01:32

The model is very pretty. The back view of that garment is deeply unflattering to her.

It is worse than the pink dress by quite some way.

Deathraystare · 30/05/2017 07:27

So if someone has bought both the pink monstrosity and the baby doll hideousness then there is no hope for them! No! not me! I haven't bought either of them!!!!

AceholeRimmer · 30/05/2017 07:38

Top = needs burning
Model = beautiful

ShotsFired · 30/05/2017 07:40

That is the Rachel Green Trifle of clothes.

It looks like the factory got pages of the order list stuck together and NL have decided to roll with it anyway....

shesabrick · 30/05/2017 07:41

snickers not just you. Back when I used to buy that sort of t-shirt (sans lingerie overlay) I would only ever pick those from places I've actually been. Or bands I actually listened to.

I haven't been shopping since this new trend appeared. WTF?! I mean I did the whole 90s strappy dress over a t-shirt thing back in the day, but this reincarnation of it is something to behold.

user1471456357 · 30/05/2017 07:44

It's inexplicable Grin

abbsisspartacus · 30/05/2017 07:53

Go and look at the other plus size clothes the model has the perfect are you fucking kidding me face on some of it

Jmangel · 30/05/2017 07:59

Aah come on guys, we're not the demographic that this style has been made for - I think it's good that curvier girls also get to rock the same styles as the slimmer teenagers.
When we were teens, there were styles that our mums would have been disdainful of and quite right, that's what gives teenagers a sense of their own identity.
These days the lines are so blurred that there aren't really any shops that 30s/40s/50s ladies wouldn't go into but we can't ridicule the younger fashions when we do.

Germgirl · 30/05/2017 08:46

I AM the demographic! Well maybe I'm a bit old but I'm 'curvy' fat
And not once, in my entire life have I ever thought 'ooh, let me get a baggy t shirt and layer a cheap frilly see through vest over the top'. Never.
When I posted I hadn't even looked at the back view. It's even worse than the front, if that's possible.
My mil is getting me a NL voucher for my birthday next week. So I guess I'll be able to go & get this item, as long as it's not sold out due to popular demand.

AWaspOnAWindowInAHeatwave · 30/05/2017 16:30

Fucking hideous.

If I were that model I think I'd have turned the gig down when asked to pose in that.

I know NL have form for cheap nasty tat but this just takes the piss.

SilentlyScreamingAgain · 30/05/2017 21:24

I don't understand the current MN obsession with moaning about clothes for teenagers and those with different body types.

New Look sells fast fashion, mainly to young women. They don't have big nets outside to capture middle aged women and force them to wear their clothes. I'm delighted that the very young are finally dressing slightly differently to their mothers.

I'm almost fifty and I'd look ridiculous in that top but that's alright, not everything is about me and I just wouldn't have the cheek to moan that a shop catering to a different demographic isn't meeting my needs.
