Perusing the 'Curves' section on New Look. I found this.

Fuck me, that is ugly.

ChanandlerBongsNeighbour · 29/05/2017 18:52

Grim. In any size!

Craycr4y · 29/05/2017 18:54

I know I complain that plus size ranges lack personality but that is a horror!

Saucery · 29/05/2017 18:55

The t shirt has a nice cut to it, wtf is the nightie doing stuck on top?

QueenMortificado · 29/05/2017 18:55

To be fair, such monstrosities exist in sizes 8-16 so the hideousness isn't restricted to plus sizes

frigginell · 29/05/2017 18:56

Wow.

AmateurSwami · 29/05/2017 18:57

I must admit, saw a lot of bollocks d that ilk in h&m size 8's today too!

Fallulah · 29/05/2017 18:58

New look plus size has always been a bit icky, apart from the jeans and the wide fit shoes. So much synthetic fabric!

T shirt meets 1970's Baby Doll polyester nightie? Say what now?

Germgirl · 29/05/2017 19:47

It's splendid isn't it? :)

Has the model put it on inside out?

BlessYourCottonSocks · 29/05/2017 19:55

How super! That basically says, 'you may wish to wear a see through baby doll nightie...but trust me, my dear, you are so unattractive naked you are only allowed to wear one provided you have a large white Florida T shirt underneath it'.

I think we can all agree that's the way we want clothes to make us feel Grin

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 29/05/2017 19:57

I think the idea is to distract other people with the hideousness of the top and hope that they don't notice that the wearer is not a size 12.

This is inspired ... quite frankly I wouldn't notice if the wearer had two heads, one of which was wearing a top hat

misskelly · 29/05/2017 20:00

To be fare to New Look, I was in there yesterday and most things were bloody hideous not just the curve stuff.

DeadGood · 29/05/2017 20:51

Um... wow.

That model is stunning though.

KatyS36 · 29/05/2017 20:58

I could possibly think of occasions where I might be able to wear the pink dress. That however.......

Whiskwarrior · 29/05/2017 21:01

Well...that kind of type is popping up all over, not just in plus ranges. It's awful either way.

And New Look's plus range, as others have pointed out, is designed by people who don't actually give a shit about plus sized people looking or feeling decent. The materials they use. Ye gads!

monkeyfacegrace · 29/05/2017 21:01

You think the model is stunning?! Jeez just goes to show there's someone for everyone Grin

BlessYourCottonSocks · 29/05/2017 21:29

I didn't realise you were supposed to wear it with jeans! Crikey...not sure if that makes it better or worse. I thought it was night attire.

NoSquirrels · 29/05/2017 21:31

Is it wrong that made me LOL? The model seems so disgusted by it, the idea that there were extra pictures to scroll through made me chuckle.

Grim in any size, quite frankly!

PinkSquash · 29/05/2017 21:33

The seam down the spine on the nightie isn't straight at all and it bugs me. It's utterly revolting

NoSquirrels · 29/05/2017 21:33

And now have read Bless comment and am LOL more! Grin

DeadGood · 29/05/2017 21:33

monkeyfacegrace yes, are you kidding?! Her face is incredible! (You may have to put your hand over the monstrosity that is the clothing, it is quite distracting)
