If you wear a lot of black, what do you wear in summer?

I'm going to a really hot country on holiday and I have no idea how to dress 'summery'. I'm normally in skinny jeans, leather jacket, boots etc. I'm thinking denim skirt, vest top etc but that seems a bit boring

Ooh, thanks MaQueen I must look at Esprit sundresses, I have some of their tops, which I like. Grey or black sundress with silver accessories sounds perfect (and simple).

metalmum I like the rock chick look, more likely to wear it in autumn/winter and go boho lite (accessories) in summer.

Quirky yes, me too. I like a bit of vintage occasionally too, depends on my mood!

Yeah like everyone else, I still wear black, just in lighter fabrics. Sometimes I branch out into black and white. The only pastel I like is mint green, so I've got a pair of mint sandals, a few mint vests and a mint cardi, if I want to brighten the black up a bit.

I love pewter shoes. I bought some pewter ballet flats in Primark and they literally go with everything, as do the rose gold ones I got at the same time.

I bought some LNA black cotton maxi dresses from eBay .

I dudn't think I needed another summer dress, but maybe...

I love white for summer. Just too hard to keep clean.
