It's £200 though (got a 10% off discount code).

Would you spend this much on a shirt? OH being no help at all!

OP I think the black rainbow shirt is actually OK no would look nice styled a few different ways. I just wouldn't spend £200 on it as I personally wouldn't get a lot of wear out of it and I'd probably only wear it a few times. If you love it, would wear it lots and can afford it - get it!

Have you ever tried sugarhill boutique. I haven't looked at their site lately but they sometimes do quirky prints at a fraction of the price.

If you're in the market for spending £200 on a blouse then you can do a lot better than Tabitha Webb. It may all be made from organic silkworms who've been massaged daily blabla but it looks like it came from Primark (and that' being offensive to Primark) It all looks cheap, and dated. Emperor's New Clothes in all senses.

I'd look around at some classier (and more classic) places OP. Quirky doesn't have to look cheap and nasty like the TW stuff does.

It may all be made from organic silkworms who've been massaged daily blabla Grin The silk worms should've had a bloody good massage for that price. Shock

Link to some examples?

Ooooh thanks for introducing this brand to me (not in U.K.).
I love the shirts I looked at and imagine I'd get lots of wear....

IHaveBrilloHair · 20/03/2017 08:26

I love it but not for that price, I also think it's so distinctive you'd not want to wear it too often, or at least I wouldn't.
If it was £50 I'd be ordering it right now

DavetheCat2001 · 20/03/2017 08:27

Thanks for the link Bounce, I shall have a look.

I would if I would get tons of wear out of it and it would last for years. My concern about expensive blouses (as opposed to expensive jackets/coats/structured) is: how long are they going to last/withstand life/washing etc. because they're flimsier.

Though saying that, the £140 I spent on The Fold's Bowery (I think) high neck blouse was definitely worth it. Goes with everything - smart and chic and machine washable (and silk!)

DavetheCat2001 · 20/03/2017 09:06

Right...I'm off out for a run and will think about it and upon return make a decision! Grin

..I am back and still undecided..

Love the black with rainbows. It's fab. It's your style buy it. Life's too short think how fab you will feel in it.
Order it if you hate it send it back but you won't!

ScarletFever · 20/03/2017 10:53

Just showedy dh and he said 'it's like something timmy mallet would wear" (yes I know.... ages us!!)

DavetheCat2001 · 20/03/2017 11:08

I think i'm going to order it.

If I look like Mr Tumble then it can go back! Grin

I will

(still haven't pushed the button yet)

Do it! 😂🌈🌈

NotYoda · 20/03/2017 18:23

I love it, but it's a bit of a punt for £200. For me that kind of money would only ever be spent on a 'classic' ie a bit more boring than that shirt or a very special frock

NotYoda · 20/03/2017 18:25

Yeah, I'd only spend about £50 on something like that

LadyOfTheCanyon · 20/03/2017 18:30

Having looked at the pictures I think the only question you need ask yourself is "Am I likely to do a headstand in this shirt?"
£200 isn't necessarily a lot but as PPs have said it doesn't look brilliantly put together. If you want to look like Alexa Chung does CBeebies then go for it" **

** disclaimer - I have massive tits and would love to be able to wear this style. < shakes fist at an uncaring God >

NotYoda · 20/03/2017 18:34

Yes. It would not suit my matronly bosom. It's definitely one for very slim Alexa- types

DavetheCat2001 · 20/03/2017 18:57

I can verify that I am small of chestidge with little waist definition (i.e. no hourglass here) and slimmish legs. Athletic build would probably best describe me, so I think this kind of look suits me.

OP posts:
DavetheCat2001 · 20/03/2017 18:57

...still dithering.

OP posts:
DavetheCat2001 · 20/03/2017 19:01

This is me, I think it could suit me..?

I really like this shirt..
