Just got a new haircut... I think I hate it - please tell me it doesn't look too bad!?

I had long hair which I was beginning to hate I now really miss it and completely love it :( and decided to just go for it and get my hair cut short. I don't think it suits my face and I don't mean for this to sound rude, but do I look 'butch'? Or not mum-like at all? I think I regret it and all my family's opinions really doesn't help!

You really suit this cut! It looks like an absolute dream to wash and dry, it's quite a soft cut so doesn't look in any way butch to me. Also you have amazing eyebrows!

Having said that, if you do not enjoy having it short, or just feel wrong with it, grow it out.

Ack, you are gorgeous and your hair is lovely. It's perfect. It's a big shock to the system when you cut off long hair but you have the right face shape for your cut, and I think you look edgy and very cool.

I had a big chop at NY and I think it comes as a big shock. I got the haircut I asked for and wanted, and it's a great cut, but it really took me a few days to get over the shock of the change and be free to love it. It's like you have to learn to look at yourself again.

Give it a few days OP and I bet you will start to feel more in love with your new look.

Fantastic haircut, if I had the right hair/ face shape I'd love a cut like that. I would keep it over long hair as it really shows off your features.

I saw the picture before reading your post properly and assumed it was a picture of a model and you were using it to show the cut you'd had rather than a RL photo
