Just got a new haircut... I think I hate it - please tell me it doesn't look too bad!?

I had long hair which I was beginning to hate I now really miss it and completely love it :( and decided to just go for it and get my hair cut short. I don't think it suits my face and I don't mean for this to sound rude, but do I look 'butch'? Or not mum-like at all? I think I regret it and all my family's opinions really doesn't help!

It looks great - I'd imagine you're the sort of person who can carry off a wide range of hairstyles successfully. Certainly nothing butch about it! It has a sort of French chic look to me.

Kr1stina · 13/03/2017 16:52

I agree with the French chic comment

PleaseTieMyBow · 13/03/2017 16:54

It looks brilliant. If I could look like that with short hair, I'd get mine cut tomorrow. You look really stylish and cool Smile

Gbean · 13/03/2017 16:55

It looks great. Agree with others that you have the right face shape. Mums are odd - my sister has cancer at the moment and when she started losing her hair, she had it cut short. Mum told her it didn't look nice Hmm and that she preferred her with long hair.

SauvignonPlonk · 13/03/2017 16:56

Its gorgeous. You look like a model!

WhatABallsUp · 13/03/2017 16:57

Clicked out of nosiness and yes, you look completely gorgeous.

neighbourhoodwitch · 13/03/2017 17:08

So stunning x

FrannySalinger · 13/03/2017 17:10

It looks great, you look great!

ineedamoreadultieradult · 13/03/2017 17:11

It looks great. I went from long hair to hair a bit shorter than yours and it took me a good month to get over the difference of it and now I love it.

nobodysbabynow · 13/03/2017 17:14

Genuinely, you look stunning!

shakeyospeare · 13/03/2017 17:19

You look beautiful!

strongswans · 13/03/2017 17:27

You look stunning! You have the right face to pull off a short cut.

absolutelynotfabulous · 13/03/2017 17:29

It's stunning!

Destinysdaughter · 13/03/2017 17:31

Looks v modern and you have a beautiful face! Smile

Shoedisaster · 13/03/2017 17:32

I don't think it is a typically feminine look if that's what you're asking.
But it looks really good on you, honestly. It brings out your cheek bones.

I'm jealous tbh, wish I could pull that style off!

knowler · 13/03/2017 17:32

It looks great - i love short hair! If you're not too sure still, you could try putting a bit of product through the top of it (something like a matt clay) just to texturise it a bit.

sanitygirl · 13/03/2017 17:34

It looks fantastic. I wish I could carry off that style!

PurpleSkies1201 · 13/03/2017 17:37

Ahhh, thank you all so much! I'm so much happier now. Really pleased at how the general public will view it then! Thank you all Smile

You look fab!

WhistlingBetty · 13/03/2017 17:44

Have only read the OP. Being brutally honest and I mean brutally honest:

You look really good. On no way butch or frumpy. You look cool, edgy, pretty and young (mid to late twenties?)

A big change can take some getting used to and I am very picky about hair but you pull it off.

Gorgeous.

TealStar · 13/03/2017 17:51

WOW.

LIke Nancy75, I'm not a great fan of short hair but it looks awesome on you.

Smellofpaint · 13/03/2017 17:53

Gorgeous! I'd have mine all lopped off if it would look anywhere near that good.
