Anyone else find their skin looks better when they DON'T take their make up off at night?..

Hi,

Just that really.

I started getting into a proper night time, beauty regime, with double cleansing, sometimes facial massage and then add a few drops of EL ANR and a face mask twice a week.

The last couple of weeks, to be perfectly honest, I just couldn't be arsed! New puppy and not sleeping well etc has turned me into a zombie, so I have just falling into bed.

Weirdly, I've noticed my skin looks a little brighter the next day, once I've cleansed and put my make up on Confused

It's very odd. Anyone else noticed this?

Thanks.

My god my skin is crying out at just reading how many of you sleep in your makeup Sad

how can you do that without feeling dirty?

I don't mean that to sound nasty I really don't. But not only is it bad for the skin, it's really unhygienic?

It's all about finding the right products for you and your skin. Some people do better on cheaper stuff, others do better on more expensive things.
Some need 5 products others can get by with using just one or two.

Either way, sleeping in your makeup is NEVER a good idea regardless of how your skin looks in the morning.

Genuine question @SparklingRaspberry but why?

I get the "glowing skin after a night on the piss" thing too! My skin looks all smooth and glowy and my eyes are sparkly even though I feel rough as a badger's arse!

I never take my make up off 😶

That said, I've never used soap on my face either. I wash with water only every morning and then also some moisturiser on. I very rarely have a spot, but do have quite dry skin. I've always thought it was just luck though as opposed to having a non-routine!
