I don't have a file on you feet so I can't find quickly what your skin type is so can only make a guess. Regarding the above, the base isn't super spectacular, water, glycerin, squalane (used to be uncommon, less so now), sunflower oil, dimeticon, etc. Cheap stuff basically, some of the rare alpine herbal extracts are costlier but if I have to take a guess it's the yeast derived ingredients that your skin responds to, adenosine being the big anti-ageing one. Basically your skin likes sugar and yeast/fermented ingredients (mine does too but not everyone responds enthusiastically to it), good news is you're all set for Japan as they have tonnes of it (galactomyces/saccharomyces) in skincare, the most famous one being the SK-II first treatment essence, but don't buy that as it's way too pricey and owned by stupid Procter & Gamble.
