I am looking for something relatively cheap and easy to enhance my eyebrows. Suggestions gratefully received.

Can't help but I'm considering Wunderbrow, have you tried that one?

Bertucci · 04/12/2016 21:38

Winder brow, is in my opinion, awful.

It's impossible to apply without over-doing it and it's really gloopy.

The absolute best is this Chanel palette. Probably a bit more expensive than others, but totally worth it.

Bertucci · 04/12/2016 21:39

Gah, autocorrect! Wunderbrow.

Pamelaaa · 04/12/2016 21:47

I haven't tried wunderbrow. How much is the Chanel palette. I couldn't see a price.

Mac brow set. Lots of colours, really effective. About £12

bingohandjob · 04/12/2016 21:50

Anastasia Beverly Hills pomade is the best I've used but GOSH eyebrow pencil or the powder kit very good too www.superdrug.com/b/GOSH?q=%3AbestBiz%3Acategory%3Apt-make-up-eyebrow-palettes%3Abrand%3A406001

CointreauVersial · 04/12/2016 21:57

Maybelline do an excellent one called Master Brow Pro Palette, with a wax, a powder, a highlighter and a little wedgy brush. It comes in two shades, so if you just want a light/medium brow it's perfect. And it's cheap!! I love mine.

YoullNeverWeeAlone · 04/12/2016 22:00

Benefit do various things. I use Ka-brow which I manage to use and I'm shit at make up. It's wax and powder in one which I find quick and easy.

BusterGonad · 05/12/2016 06:30

Get an eyebrow powder and slated brush, so much more natural then pencils. Mine is Illamasqua, I've had it for about 3 years and looks like it'll last for another 50!

hecallsmebunny · 05/12/2016 07:49

I use a Revlon brow fill in one that does the job fine! 2 shades of brown and an application brush. £4 on Amazon! (Called Vital Radiance on the packing which is part of Revlon more common in US I think)

leedy · 05/12/2016 13:39

Benefit Gimme Brow brow gel. Comes in a tiny mascara like tube with wand, just stroke through brows and they somehow become magically more filled-in and defined. I am usually absolutely useless at eyebrow makeup and this appears to be idiot-proof.

Twoevils · 05/12/2016 13:43

I like Soap & Glory Archery - much easier to apply than the powder/waxes.

BeautyGoesToBenidorm · 05/12/2016 13:50

I use dark brown matte eyeshadow and a flat brush to do mine, then tidy the edges with a lighter brown eyeliner pencil to give a bit of definition. I use L'Oreal Infallible Fixing Spray on my whole face afterwards - it's wonderful stuff, even on my oily skin, foundation etc just doesn't budge.

It takes practice to get it looking natural (particularly the pencil definition), but it's the only thing I've tried that doesn't make my eyebrows look ridiculously drawn on. I have to use something, I have barely any eyebrows left after overplucking as a teen!

UnoriginalNN · 05/12/2016 17:46

Find a good beautician and get them tinted and shaped - this has changed everything for me! It's a process in order to fully rehab your brows if they aren't great, but it makes the world of difference.

witsender · 05/12/2016 18:09

How do you use all those different shades?

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 05/12/2016 18:14

I have the Soap and Glory palette and it's easy to use. I also have the Benefit Gimme Brow and I like it a lot. I am tempted by the Chanel one but I need my brows shaping first.

Leviticus · 06/12/2016 18:00

I know someone who uses wunderbrow and I can see it, sitting in her eyebrows, almost like she's put coloured PVA glue on them. Perhaps she just applies it badly.

NeverGoOutOfStyle · 06/12/2016 18:30

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz is my favourite, I really like the pomade too, but the Brow Wiz is so quick and easy, but I've not met an ABH product I've not liked yet so they're all a pretty good bet.

8DaysAWeek · 06/12/2016 20:05

ABH dip brow pomade is my favourite. Brow wiz is great too but if you have darker brows it isn't as natural looking. I liked Benefit brow-zing (or something) too but dip brow is easier. It may cost a little more but will last years!!!

HelloSunshine11 · 06/12/2016 20:57

It's not cheap at £20 but the Suquu eyebrow pen is amazing. The colours seem wrong but are really, really right. I'm brunette and have got the moss colour, it's perfect.

Riversiderunner · 06/12/2016 23:23

The Clarins palette is ace.

The Wunderbrow thing is crap unless you want your eyebrows to look like slugs.

goddessofsmallthings · 07/12/2016 04:42

Another vote for Benefit's Gimme Brow. As leedy says, it's idiot proof and it's not only simple to apply, it also has excellent staying power which I've found lacking in other Benefit products.

As far as I know, it comes in 3 shades: 1 = light, 3 = medium, and 5 = dark.
If you want to give it a try you'll find reasonably priced travel sizes on eBay.

Fibbertigibbet · 08/12/2016 13:28

Freedom Brow Pomade from Superdrug. £4, comes in a million colours, heard it's a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills pomade (although I am a cheapskate so wouldn't know), really really good.

theansweris42 · 08/12/2016 13:45

have tried a few
I say Benefit Gimme Brow brow gel.

MuseumOfCurry · 08/12/2016 13:52

I don't think the brand matters. I'd buy a powder eyebrow palate that best matches your brows (you must buy special eyebrow powder rather than eyeliner, it has less pigment) and a slanted brush.

Using the powder sparingly, create some definition - brush it over the entire eyebrow so that everything matches. I puff my eyebrows up a bit in the opposite direction so they look a bit more bushy.

I have the MAC one that has two shades of brown, I like it just fine but could use any palate.
