My current favourite. (Not really) is the new Chanel No 5 l'eau, a triumph of style over substance. Any others?

I remember this Chanel one first time round...lovely romantic stuff and nice music

I copied this onto the perfumista thread this morning, not an ad, but the blurb from a scent sample I tried yesterday:

""Did it ever exist? Has it only ever been harvested by friendly hands this sidereal rose? One could imagine it so textured, so vivid, so real (ROSE OXYDE). Beautiful flower in a cowhide. A rose for girl and boys who do not love roses madly, but who do not hate to be surprised. Through beautiful floral mechanics, the miracle of alchemy transforms, right under your nose, a super fresh rosebud into a metallic flower."

Or, in my own words: "slightly rose-y, settles into a powdery hairy biker" Grin

Anything with Nicole Kidman in (including films) has quite the opposite effect to that intended with me. Appalling woman.

I used to love the skanky Obsession ads in the 80s, had them all over my wall and thought they were fab until my friend said she imagined the one where he is kissing her naked stomach is not because he's on his way down......but because he's actually 3ft 6 and that's as far as he can reach.

Yes!! DH and I were talking about this the other day. The Sauvage one is utterly heinous.

Grin @ 3ft6

My favourite worst one was Scarlet Johannson saying 'lips are for kissing' (pouting)
