I am having my haircut tomorrow and can't decide whether to get it cut into a pixie cut or not.
I have had one before and liked it but got bored quickly, but it was shorter than I am thinking of tomorrow.
So the first picture is me (sans make up etc.) the second is the kind of thing I am thinking of. If I don't get it done like that then I will grow it out into a bob. Which probably means something like the third picture tomorrow.
Am also thinking of going blonde.
Any ideas or suggestions welcome. I have no idea what do to with my hair any more!
TIA.
Ps my hair is reasonably thin, half curly, half straight, and I need a fringe!

Go for the Jennifer Lawrence short haircut and go blonder Smile

I think it will really suit you, and will be easier to look after than the both if you have wavy hair, as it can be a bit "messy" and still look good iykwim?

Speaking as someone who has had a pixie cut for five years Grin

MrsSpenserGregson · 10/11/2016 12:17

*easier to look after than the bob

Blasted iPad!

cbigs · 10/11/2016 12:18

I think you totally have the face for a pixie cut! And if your hair has some movement alread. It won't fall flat like mine did when I looked like Ian Beale for two years go for it!

agadoodoodoo · 10/11/2016 12:18

Dude. You're super pretty.

I think your face shape is v similar to JL, my only question would be whether your curls would behave or you'd be permanently straightening? Or do you usually straighten anyway?

EccentricPickle · 10/11/2016 12:19

I'd go Jennifer Lawrence too Smile.

Another vote for pixie.

FadedRed · 10/11/2016 12:22

Well you certainly have the bone structure and lovely facial features that would make the blonde pixie Jennifer Lawrence hairstyle look sensational. Go for it!

MrsMarigold · 10/11/2016 12:24

Pixie from me too, but if your hair is fine does it stand up or look too wispy. If it does be careful.

DanicaJones · 10/11/2016 12:26

The pixie cut.

welliesandsequins · 10/11/2016 12:26

Thank you all! Looks like pixie it is!
My hair is straight on top but curly underneath Confused
So shouldn't need to straighten too much!

Take in the picture of JL and talk to your hair stylist. Is s/he good and do you trust his/her judgement? My stylist is fab and in the past I've gone in with ideas and she's given me others or tweaked the ones I have to suit my hair/colouring/whatever.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 10/11/2016 12:37

Bleach will thicken your hair as it 'roughs' up the cuticle so going blonde is a good move.
Would love to see some after pics tomorrow!

burnishedsilver · 10/11/2016 12:44

Jennifer Lawrence, definately.

Evvy543 · 10/11/2016 12:46

Go for Jennifers, it'll look gorgeous with your features x x x

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia · 10/11/2016 12:47

yes...def the shorter one, your hair looks like mine...very fine and wilful, going shorter like that makes it looks fuller and richer.

and we MUST have after pics! so hurry!

margaritasbythesea · 10/11/2016 12:57

665TheNeighbourOfTheBeast · 10/11/2016 17:58

You've a lovely face with pretty features...go for the JLaw blonde pixie, it'll be lovely on you.

welliesandsequins · 10/11/2016 18:58

Not too late at all 665 but have been short before and think I want to stay a little longer at the back at the moment.
Thank you though Smile

So I have had it done. I like the cut, I think. I am not sure about the colour but I am hoping it just needs to settle down a bit.
Have also got to work out how to style it. What product does any one think? Maybe a bit of spray wax?? And a little straightening?
TIA

Your hair is lovely. I don't think you need to straighten it. I think you need to miss it up a bit with a wax product. Go back and look at the JL picture you posted originally. You need to try and separate strands a bit to give it the effortlessly tousled look.

OlennasWimple · 11/11/2016 15:00

Great cut!
