Honest opinions - would I look like a twat wearing this in a professional smart/casual office?

You'd look ridiculous anywhere in that - as does the model, but shes paid to wear a checked sack which would show her boobs without sticky tape.

I love jumpsuits. A woman I work with carriers hers off amazingly well. Hers is well cut so looks like smart trousers and a smart top rather than an all-in-one IYSWIM. If she's wearing a cardigan or jacket you can't tell it's a jump suit so she can dress it up or down.

However, she has a reputation for very expensive clothes so lord only knows how much she paid for hers. She's also very quirky in herself. Think huge shock of vivid red curly hair often adorned with butterflies. So, she can pull a jumpsuit off.

I think if you're not particularly quirky, they can look like big baby grows. They're not flattering. The one you've posted here is hideous (sorry)- no shape and the holes in the side are just odd.

I'm not averse to jumpsuits per se (the right one on the right person can be perfect) but I am definitely against that particular one

Rather going against the flow - I like it. I think with a white top underneath it would be fine. You cannot wear it in an office with nothing underneath though.

In my honest opinion it's not really smart office wear, although I'm sure you could dress it up with some smart heels and a nice blouse underneath.

Personally I'm a lover of a jumpsuit but I think I would maybe keep something like this for casual.

I'm with Meggy, with a top it could look good. I'm also with 90day in that you'd need a certain amount of style or chutzpah to carry it off.

It has no 'shape' to it which I think is the issue, and therefore isn't at all flattering.

I usually wear black skinny jeans with a blazer so I'm not exactly known for bizarre fashion choices but I do really like it. I'm in a client facing role which means I want to be taken seriously to them more so than in the office iyswim. I hadn't even considered the baby gro comparison

By all means buy it if you like it but don't wear it to work.

My friend would wear that to work with a pair of cool trainers, but she works in marketing at a start up in Shoreditch (and is a size 6/8 with a dancer's figure - jealous!)

Of all the jumpsuits I've seen that's the worst you could choose for office wear. If that were in denim you'd look like a member of Bananarama circa 1982.

Scribblegirl I'm more similar to your friend. Size 8 and work in a similar sort of setting.
