Honest opinions - would I look like a twat wearing this in a professional smart/casual office?

I've been flirting with the idea of ordering this jumpsuit. Toilet mechanics aside, I'm wondering if I would look ridiculous?

Awful, sorry. I wouldn't say an absolute no to all jumpsuits but I think they really need to have a defined waist - that does remind me of a babygrow

Madbengalmum · 25/08/2016 17:25

That outfit would look ridiculous anywhere!

specialsubject · 25/08/2016 17:37

Emperors new clothes outside the fashion 'industry'. That outfit will cheer people up, in that it is ludicrous! Wear only if paid to do so.

oldlaundbooth · 25/08/2016 17:39

Meh, maybe you could get away with it -Shoreditch/very slim/ marketing etc.

Would you wear something underneath? old

Nettletheelf · 25/08/2016 20:33

What in the name of God is that? A formal romper? Suitaloons?

Whoever made the Bananarama comparison had it bang on!

AmberNectarine · 25/08/2016 23:08

I am slim and in marketing

I would rather wear gumboots and a hessian thong to work than that aberration.

wowfudge · 25/08/2016 23:11

I'm smarting at the thought of a Hessian thong.

wowfudge · 25/08/2016 23:12

I think the OP may be too young to know who Bananarama were.

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 25/08/2016 23:12

Does it come with a matching nappy cover and bonnet?Grin

Sorry!

CafeCremeMerci · 25/08/2016 23:17

When the model looks absolutely fuckng ridiculous wearing something, it's a fair indication any mere mortal will. Obviously in 'medja' it's ok to look 'quirky' (read 'ridiculous').

JohnCheese · 25/08/2016 23:42

God it's absolutely hideous. Sorry op.
Not even in medjyaa.

tappitytaptap · 26/08/2016 12:17

Am an accountant, have seen odd person wear a jumpsuit but v plain and no side cut outs. Where do you work OP, what sort of industry?

Whatthequack · 26/08/2016 12:40

Op, if you're in a creative industry, with a white collared shirt underneath and heels, I think it could work.

il0vew1ne · 26/08/2016 13:25

Not in a professional environment.

Love it for going out

poppym12 · 26/08/2016 13:33

Why do I have the teletubbies theme song running around my head?

I think for going out/casual it would look OK but not for work. Especially not in a job where you need to be taken seriously.

echelon · 26/08/2016 16:00

Ugh! Sorry OP but that is the ugliest thing I've ever seen! No one would look good in that.

Doobigetta · 26/08/2016 17:03

Yes. I think a visual may help here:

Professional having your midriff out at work

Just not ok.

neveradullmoment99 · 27/08/2016 13:34

I think it is awful and tbh, agree that bits at the side showing your skin is an absolute no no.

OlennasWimple · 27/08/2016 13:40

The side cut outs make it unsuitable for work, and I don't think you can style it to cover those without it looking bad, sorry. There are other jumpsuits out there if you really want one for work (I just bought one for casual wear, having tried it on for a laugh but it is actually flattering and soooo comfortable)

OlennasWimple · 27/08/2016 13:44

Provided this doesn't gape / you pin the front up, you could wear this for example

Looks a bit 80s to me but if you are young you could pull that off
