Polo neck. Have degree in fashion, and used to be good at all this sort of stuff.People always wanted me to go shopping with them for advice.

Alas ds and dd have stolen all brain, and replaced it with a cabbage

High necks lengthen you, so would make shoulders appear slimmer (if that's what you want, I personally like broad shoulders on women, they make good "coathangers") and people with litle boobs look good in polo necks. Anything v or notch neck, but avoid, square or sweetheart necklines. That OK for you?

I do colours too!

so what you're trying to say is 'YOU HAVE A DEGREE IN FASHION AND YOU ARE GOOD AT ADVISING PEOPLE ON WHAT TO WEAR'I Would imagine.Oh,and that she should wear a poloneck!

Note in my message word "used". As I said, no longer have full quota of brain cells, in fact not even mimimum quota, so brian all woolly now, and frequently make mistakes..

I however look like a dog in polo necks, so am always envious of anyone who can wear one. I was thinking a la Audrey Hepburn, or was that a turtle neck......

Thanks for ALL the advice fizzbuzz .

I don't actually have many polo necks - not sure I like the feeling of being strangled! - but I will dig one out and give it a go!
