Best place to buy white cropped leggings in size 20?

Need some white leggings that are comfy, cropped and really good quality. Obviously don't want them to be see through.
Any suggestions please?

Well thankfully the majority of people here are kind and helpful!! Thank you to those who have made suggestions - I do appreciate it. I am going to order the Dorothy Perkins ones. Thanks for all the supportive comments - you are in the majority 😊

Wow ..wear whatever you want op
Like others have said m&s or Dorothy Perkins
I'm sure they do a size 20.
I love white trousers/jeans in the summer really brightens things up.
I've never tried white leggings tho.
Never actually seen many in the shops
Hope you find some :-)

I had a pair of black cropped lace bottom leggings from Yours Clothing years ago.. still going strong nice and thick no sagging hopefully the white will be just as good quality.

Wow, how weird that people type horrible comments and how sad that they feel the need to actually post their comments. Shock

Cannot help you on sourcing any OP, as I look shit in leggings and am size 12. I don't think it is what size you are but what shape.

TheOnlyColditz · 04/07/2016 07:46

It's not just about shape, is it? It's definitely about size and height too. Cropped white leggings are possibly the LEAST flattering things you could possibly wear.

Now, personally I am motivated to post this by the urge to not see someone making a really goddawful clothing error, but the fact that some people have attributed this to spite says a lot more about them than it does about me. Op can obviously wear what she wants, there is no law saying you have to look presentable when you leave the house..

Bloody hell colditz, have you not picked up that your opinion about alleged "clothing errors" isn't wanted?

Report
Just5minswithDacre · 04/07/2016 07:58

What kind of joy-sapping concept is 'clothing error ' anyway?

Report
Scoose · 04/07/2016 08:16

Op has already said she will be wearing them under a tunic/dress so how much of the leggings will actually be seen? And even if she was wearing them with a crop top who is anyone to judge? She can wear what she likes and I hope she feels fabulous in doing so! Clothing error? Wtf I'm sure you always look perfect colditz Hmm

I'm actually quite impressed with my Primark ones. I'm a 16-18, bought an 18 which are massive on me so you might be able to get away with them! I think they were about 3 quid. They're soft and wash really nicely, not seen any see through bits yet! I wear mine as described, with a summery tunic/dress and they feel far more suitable than my usual black ones!

colditz I'm sure you're familiar with the phrase "if you can't say anything nice..." this might be a good time to apply it. You're not doing anyone a favour by being intentionally rude.

OP I live in my leggings since having DS1 and they're the comfiest thing now I'm pregnant again. Sainsbury's have been the best, without speanding stupid money. I don't have cropped or white ones, but if they do them then I imagine the quality would be very good. My long grey and black ones are lovely, not see-through and don't sag.

TheOnlyColditz · 04/07/2016 16:16

I'm not being intentionally rude, I'm trying to stop the Op going out looking silly. There is a reason that she is finding size 20 white leggings difficult to obtain. The reason is that they don't look very nice.

I'm not the sort of person who will happily let someone make a prick of themselves just so I don't have to have the social discomfort of saying anything. Maybe you are.

OP, you've made me want to go and buy some. I need some to go under shorter dresses, which look fine abroad with a tan or near the beach but not wandering down the local High Street. Cropped leggings underneath could be the answer, you saviour you!

Colditz I really think you should just stop posting now. OP already said she wasn't inviting opinion, she was looking for recommendations. I think you have been very rude, and it wasn't accidental because when people have pointed it out you've just continued. We've all made silly comments at some time, but we should all know when to stop digging. Please don't go on.

MumOnACornishFarm, I am sure you are the voice of absolute authority in your own home, but you have no authority over me. Regardless of the reaction my advice has caused, I had a valid point and I had a genuine reason for making it. I will not shut up and I will not go away. Thank you for your input.

Note how I don't report your post because I dislike the contents?

MumOnACornishFarm · 04/07/2016 17:44

No I don't have any authority over you. I wouldn't tell somebody what to do, I asked you nicely, and I wouldn't bother reporting your posts. You have the absolute right to voice your opinion, and to offend. Lots of people have said here that they think your posts are rude. I would hope that would mean something to you.

MumOnACornishFarm · 04/07/2016 17:51

Colditz I've just seen that your "looking like a prick" comment has been removed. I didn't report it, I've never reported a post, but I'm nonetheless glad it's gone.

If you do get the Dorothy perkins ones can you come back and let us know what they're like? I want to get some for my holiday but I hate shopping around!

DraenorQueen · 04/07/2016 18:03

Colditz has it occurred to you that the OP most likely doesn't buy clothes with the sole aim of being aesthetically pleasing to you or any other judgmental arsehole out there?
OP, I am the same size as you and have a M and S pair of white crops which I wear with bright tunic tops. I think it's a nice casual look for Summer and is flattering with a nice pair of wedges.

Report
Fuzzypeggy · 04/07/2016 18:04

Colditz, the thing is that looking like a prick is very subjective and all down to taste. The op likes white leggings and wants them so the decision is already made by her. It's her choice. She wants to wear them. She has her own taste which I'm sure you do too. So effectively what you are saying, is like going up to someone already wearing white leggings and telling them they look like a prick. Rude is the only word for it. If someone did that to you I bet you wouldn't take it on the chin as helpful fashion advice.

Of course not, but she probably wants them to be aesthetically appealing to herself.

Has NOBODY on this thread ever made a clothing purchase they later regret, all because nobody had the balls to advise them otherwise? Personally I appreciate my honest friends. I don't like to be lied to, I like to know the truth before I purchase. If something is going to make me look like I have an even fatter arse than normal, I want to know before I lay the money down, not after.

MumOnACornishFarm · 04/07/2016 18:08

And surely OP already knows better than you do what is aesthetically pleasing to herself.

Fuzzypeggy · 04/07/2016 18:09

Maybe you do colditZ but the op said early doors that she didn't appreciate it but you still carried on
