What's your monthly spend on clothes, makeup, accessories etc and are you ok with that?

I try to set myself a budget of no more than £200 and struggle! I know i am a shopaholic, even more so a saleaholic once the sales are on it's like a red rag to a bull. That's on anything appearance related, so clothes, shoes, makeup, skincare, hair, accessories, bags etc.

I do seem to buy a lot of clothes, due to weight loss/ gain I never seem to be the same size season to season so I often end up with a wardrobe of different sizes. And I am a sucker for expensive makeup - somehow I never seem to get along with the cheap stuff, probably psychological!

Is that amount a lot? or a reasonable amount? I know it depends on income etc but just interested whether other people spend a similar amount.

Sorry included in that is a twice yearly wash and blow dry for £25 each time.

I have spent on average 35 per month on clothes. I get a 10 haircut every 6 weeks.

I just replace makeup as it runs out so maybe 5 per month.

Occasionally I have a cut, blow dry and colour or get my eyebrows threaded for 5.

I feel pretty good with that. It does help to write down everything you buy.

It varies but probably £75-100 a month. That's includes haircuts at £70 a pop (inc colour) every few months and a mix of h&m type basics and better quality items in the sale. I barely replenish make up but do like nice toiletries for a treat

i spend about £100 - 120 a month on stuff inc roots touch up at salon.
sahm, so would like to spend half that as i do feel i'm a bit of an addict but then i dont go out for loads of coffee or have expensive hobbies and interests.

some months i'll buy a series of cheap things from new look or h and m and next month it will be a replacement pair of converse and something from a most expensive high st shop.

things seem to need replacing all the time and also since starting the school run, i see other mums with really nice things eg seasalt or other expensive brands that id never considered before and find myself checking out stuff online!!

I don't really have a budget - it varies so much. This month, for example, I haven't really bought much at all, since I did most of my summer shopping two months ago, and I haven't really started thinking about autumn clothes yet. So far, all I've bought is:

Shampoo + conditioner - £20
A new pink lipstick - £26
Boots (supposedly for autumn but I've already started wearing them Blush - £150
Tights - £7.99
Hand cream - £6

I should mention, I rarely go to the hairdresser's as I've never found a single one who makes my hair looks nice. I never get split ends anyway, so I just let it grow to its heart's content.
