I'm not a sucker for a free sample usually. Got a wee packet of this in a mag the other day and the difference it has made to my skin is amazing! Really smooth, dewy and best of all, my killer eye bags are reduced and much less dark. Just ordered a pot off Amazon. Thought I'd share.

Got an amazing deal
Basket: £50
Free Gift: (worth £32)
30% off= £35

£82 of stuff for £35 !

bigbuttons · 15/04/2016 18:09

you can buy the individual oils for pennies. It isn't anything magical.

EachandEveryone · 15/04/2016 18:10

It won't take my promotional code it keeps saying it's taken it when all its done is given me free delivery. Very annoying. Even when I log in and out.

DidIMissSomething · 15/04/2016 18:54

It did that to me too - I emptied my basket and logged out - I had two windows open so did both of them - tried again and it did work. Felt very pleased with myself and then realised I have just spent £50 I wasn't intending to! Hope it works (or at least smells nice!)

EachandEveryone · 15/04/2016 19:20

Trouble us, I'm not interested in the free stuff but I can't find a cider more than 30%

PacificDogwod · 15/04/2016 21:44

It did it to me too, but I managed to get it to work when I logged in from a different computer Confused[not techy]

I wonder what the gift will be?

whattheseithakasmean · 16/04/2016 08:28

I was told what my freebies were at the check out - shea body butter, mineral face mask & argan oil bubble bath. Will definitely use the body butter, may regift the others. But with the discount & free delivery I am pretty happy.

Oly5 · 16/04/2016 09:50

I love the body shop and have started wearing white musk again! Also reminds me of being 16! Also love their shower gels and body butters. Have never really looked at their skincare though

rubmytrotters · 16/04/2016 09:53

I'll sound like a right moan considering how much everyone seems to love these oils but I still think £28 or there abouts for a tiny wee 30ml pot which DD will probably open and knock over is ridiculously expensive. If it was half that price I'd be trying it out but £28 is still steep for me....

I'm destined to be old and haggard Grin

nickdrakeslovechild · 16/04/2016 11:48

I got the sleeping cream and the massager yesterday and I LOVE it! I have really sensitive and haggard skin and always go back to Nivea or Astral so was not expecting a miracle.

This morning my skin is absolutely more pumped than it was yesterday. It did sting a little when I first put it on, which is normal for me anyway.

The Body Shop, does seem to have their game back on with a few products recently, the chamomile oil and butter cleansers are great as a first cleanse followed by the aloe vera cleanser for the second. I recently ran out of the aloe vera so used superdrugs own sensitive one but that was burning my skin.

If you wanted to try it, our local one were giving out samples of it yesterday.

MooMinCow · 16/04/2016 11:58

Rub, it only comes in small quantities as its so concentrated you only need to use 1-2 drops at a time so a bottle lasts for 6months plus. If it was sold in larger bottles it would go off before you ever used it up as it is plant oil based and they have a shorter shelf life than mineral oil (bio oil/baby oil)

MooMinCow · 16/04/2016 12:00

Oops forgot to add that plant oils/essential oils per ml are a lot more expensive to produce than mineral oil, hence the price tag

Pancakeflipper · 16/04/2016 13:09

Ta for directing me to the VitE serum.

Can you add the oils to moisturiser? A couple of drops onto a dab or mosituriser?
That's what I currently do with my current facial stuff and it works for my super-dry skin.

LumpySpacedPrincess · 16/04/2016 13:53

rub there is loads you can do for your skin that won't cost the earth. Get thee onto an Asian Beauty thread! Grin

Kirriemuir · 16/04/2016 15:33

I went in and had a little whiff. It is lovely. Might do an online order once I have read this full thread and for be out what discounts there are.

RichTeaAreCrap · 16/04/2016 22:27

Oh I wish I had seen this earlier, I have some brand new in box sealed oil of life and also the sleeping cream that I am never going to use. Happy to sell it to any of you obviously cheaper than it would be to buy in The Body Shop.
At the moment its sat in a drawer and I just know I won't use it, so would be a shame to end up keeping it 5 years then chucking it out if anybody could get some use out of it! PM me if you would like it.

FluffyBunny123 · 16/04/2016 22:29

No thanks.

biscuiteer · 17/04/2016 04:03

Sorry about that, have asked mn to delete my post above. I'm not new to mn but just looked up guidelines.

Didiusfalco · 17/04/2016 07:13

Are you not allowed to do that biscuiteer? that just seems helpful given that its a thread about the body shop anyway.

QuimReaper · 17/04/2016 22:37

The camomile oil ruined my skin for WEEKS, I can't trust them and their oils any more!

Swear by the tea tree and oat & honey face masks though.

ShesAGreatGas · 18/04/2016 21:18

Just used the camomile cleansing butter and the oils of life sleeping cream and my skin feels sooooo smooth. Lovely. Thanks OP Grin

Doobydoo · 18/04/2016 21:27

Marking..........

sassytheFIRST · 18/04/2016 21:30

Haha - glad people approve. I still love the stuff though I do wish I'd posted 1st and got the discount!
