I'm not a sucker for a free sample usually. Got a wee packet of this in a mag the other day and the difference it has made to my skin is amazing! Really smooth, dewy and best of all, my killer eye bags are reduced and much less dark. Just ordered a pot off Amazon. Thought I'd share.

Scotsgirl - you will get the 30% off new products during this event (insider knowledge Wink)

Ooh I've been looking at this. Is it the sleeping cream you got OP? The only thing putting me off was I didn't know which one to choose!

Will the 30% off be in store as well as on line does anyone know?

Report
MooMinCow · 13/04/2016 16:39

Yes in store too (hope I'm allowed to post the flier!)

This thread is so bad for my bank balance. Did you say it's free to become a member?

Report
MooMinCow · 13/04/2016 16:44

Yup, the new loyalty card is free and doesn't expire like the old one used to

Oh bugger - if I'd only posted about the cream (yes, the sleeping one) before I bought it, I'd have saved myself loads. Oh well.

And yes to Brian Blessed! Though for me the voice is Eddie Izzard, doing James Cagney, doing God Grin

I was in my local Body Shop at the weekend and the assistant confirmed that all ranges will be included in this week's special offers.
She also gave me samples of the new Drops of Light face wash and moisturiser - love them both so will be purchasing with the discount.

The new(ish) Spa range is lush too. Would recommend the Hawaiian Kukui Cream or the Japanese Camellia cream. Feel a bit more luxurious than the regular body butters

What's the difference between the intensely revitalising and the other one?

Report
ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 14/04/2016 07:39

I have been using the massager and it's really good for the jawline actually.

It sort of grips the skin.

MooMinCow · 14/04/2016 08:32

Mimi, they're all 'intensively revitalising'. The gel cream moisturiser is the lightest texture so good for combination skin, the cream is thicker so better for drier skin, the new sleeping cream is for all skin types at night. The oil is the best I think as it has the most concentration of the seed oils.

Well despite receiving a text telling me I have 30% off everything, plus a free gift when I spend £25 there's nothing applied to my bag in the online store and my oils of life cream says its excluded from all promotions

Anyone else have any luck?

nickdrakeslovechild · 14/04/2016 09:29

Noooooo I am having the same problem. It says Oils of life is excluded.

Just spoke to my local store and indeed all items in store are 30% off. Going to pop in tomorrow. She also said every customer today has bought oils of life Grin

Just to confirm for Love your Body members 30% discount offer to apply your total basket price has to be £30 value AFTER discount is applied, I added oils of life cream and another item also with 30% discount and it works plus the free gift was automatically added to the order Flowers
I am a Body Shop fanatic and use lots of their ranges already, a friend was also raving about oils of life and this thread convinced me so Thanks! Flowers
If you're not sure what else to add to make up to £30 value I recommend: hemp hand cream, moringa and vit E body butter, rainforest moisture hair butter, Satsuma shower gel, Aloe Vera face mask, camomile cleansing butter xx

Bloody shea body butter as the free gift, they're always trying to give me tubs of that crap!

Thank you moomin. I wasn't reading it clearly this morning. Too early.

I stopped buying from the body shop whenthere were questions over animal cruelty. L'Oreal test on animals and body shop supply china. I'm now desperately googling for definitive answers as this all sounds lovely.

Thanks for this thread! Although DH may not thank you!

I practically got my Oils of Life cream for free! Bought chamomile cleansing oil as I am among out, a hair band as I've lost mine, shampoo and conditioner and vit C microdermabrasion stuff and the Oil of Life Sleeping Cream and got the free gift.

It does make me wonder how much the mark up on stuff is if they can afford to discount so heavily though! Was impressed with the free gift as I assumed it would be trial sizes.

They do 40% discounts every month, so the official prices aren't the 'real' prices.

Report
SoyYo · 14/04/2016 15:26

Agree with squoosh I never ever pay full price and stock up with the frequent offers.

Oils of life smells very nice. But its just a moisturiser. I didn't notice any special effects.....
