Wedding dress that's not weddingy (if that's actually a word)

Can anyone help me find a dress for my wedding? In my head I'm looking for something silk, fluid, knee or midi length and am really not looking at a traditional wedding dress at all. I'm late 40s, 5'9 and a 10-12. My best bits are probably my legs and my collar bones/chest, but I'm not a great fan of my upper arms amd strapless is a no no. I love the style of Alexander McQueen or Vivienne Westwood and am looking for something relatively simple, but perhaps a bit quirky or asymetric perhaps, in white or ivory? Planning to wear killer heels!
I've lost the plot searching net a porter etc, so if anyone can give me fresh inspiration, I'd be very grateful. Budget up to 1500.

Hi thanks so much to everyone, there are some amazing dresses here. I also adore the tulle skirt above. It's been really interesting for me as going through these has made me start to think I might want something more weddingy than I first thought. I still want to look like the bride not an overdressed guest, iyswim? I do love the Vivienne Westwood one from early in the thread and would buy it if it was my size, so I will trawl eBay to see if any of her dresses pop up there.

Thnaks Closer, I'd seen that one on ebay. It's lovely but again, I am pretty convinced I need a 12 or 44. I've got a VW gold label dress in a 12 and it fits well - I doubt I'd get my top half into a 10!
Thnaks for looking though. I hate it when I decdie I really want somethign and then can't find it! Trying not to flap too much as the wedding isn't until September so there's time to track one down I hope.
