I've got a big, important party coming up. There's no way I can justify the expense. I've sent back loads of dresses. Tell me I'll send this one back too?

DVF uses american sizing :) so it's not vanity sizing.

Hi haggardoldwitch I am a solid 10 and my Zarita is a US4. Sounds like you will need a US8 or maybe US10? One of the reasons I sized down was so that the lace sleeves were more fitted. It's pretty stretchy.

If you can afford it (I don't want to push you into anything!) you will feel amazing :)

Ted Baker one is nice - still quite expensive though

The DVF one is gorgeous. The cheap HS ones, not so much.

It is $348 on shopbop and only $139 in the blue but only in bigger sizes. It is worth spending more on lace the blueMonsoon one is not as nice.

Whilst DVF might be vanity sized generally, I disagree that the Zarita is vanity sized.

I buy size 10 EVERYWHERE (at 5'9") and I had to get the US6 (UK 12) short Zarita as it comes up quite tight. If you have a Selfridges handy definitely try it on.

The Reiss one is gorgeous. Get that one!

Actually, I've bought the US 8 and I'm a UK 10 in Hobbs, Whistles, LK Bennett etc for fitted pencil dresses.

Is got an exposed zip at the back..so its already out of style. The elbow length sleeves will bag out and look creased, the lace isn't properly finished around the top of the zip, the v back ends in the wrong place to be flattering and its just perfectly the wrong length..look what it does to the models knees..your better be perfect if your going to try to wear that..
So spend less on something flattering..not loads on something just so meh!
