Anyone else with this bra problem

I find most bras seem to come up to high in the arm pit and pinch a bit but at the front rather than in the actual pit iyswim. I struggle to find a flattering and comfortable bra, even then they seems ok when I first put then on but by the end of the day the cups are gapping. it's as if my boobs have sank down.
I have a Cleo Jude that is awful the wires dig into my boobs in the middle and the cups gape. it does nothing for me no matter how much I scrape myself in haha.
I think I measure 29 and 37 around boob. my most recent purchases have been 28ff a g seems too big. my 30f bras gape in the cup.
any suggestions of styles I could try??
I tried 8 or 9 styles on my last trip and found one that was comfortable.

a quick compare of the 28ff shows the cup is exactly the same . I'm going to keep the 30f for the comfort factor. Smile.

Shortening the straps might help with the wrinkle factor. The lily fabric is sort of stiff so I find that you can have small wrinkles but they have no impact on the support!

Comfiest bra ever I found is bravissimo Melrose. It's a full cover cup but sides and centre front aren't too high, no poking.

also google bra sister sizes. Its based on cup volume. It helps identify 3 different cup sizes that will fit you as the volumes are actually different based on the band. for example a 30g cup volume is different from a 32gcup volume. You will understand better once you look it up. Made mt life so much easier.

StatisticallyChallenged · 02/04/2015 09:48

Sister sizing isn't quite as straight forward as that LilQueenie - whilst the bras might have the same volume the cups won't necessarily be the same shapes or proportion. So in theory a 28FF=30F=32E, but the 32E might have wider, shallower cups. Some brands use the same cups and sister size easily but others use different cups for each one.

I ordered the Cleo Marcie suggested unthread in a 30J, which is what my two bras that fit me best are. The back is fine, although it is on the tightest hook already, but the cups are gaping at the top, should I order a 30H/HH?

SorrelForbes · 03/04/2015 08:09

The Marcie does tend to come up big. If you're wearing it on the tightest hooks already then it's definitely too big. I'd go down to a 28J.

Is it, by any chance, a nude or black Marcie? If so, they are being recalled due to a manufacturing issue.

GunShotResidue · 03/04/2015 09:40

It's a raspberry one, very bright! Thank you :)

More bad news on the Cleo front. They have stopped making 28HH and 28J from this season, I believe due to lack of demand. I suspect that pester power may be the only chance of getting that reinstated but at the moment I'm not holding out much hope Sad

StatisticallyChallenged · 03/04/2015 11:09

I'd heard about that, really unfortunate!

marriednotdead · 04/04/2015 20:41

It's more than unfortunate, I've had to compromise on the issue several times this week already, and there are at least 2 colleagues who have no alternative that works!

StatisticallyChallenged · 05/04/2015 00:50

The Cleos are kind of unusual in UK bras - most UK bras seem to be a fair bit wider to me. I get the odd hit with others, but they're the only UK brand where I can consistently find bras which I know will work for me. I'd imagine there will be a fair number of people who have suddenly lost their best bras!
