Throw your best, most reliable, foolproof, spot be gone remedies at me! I want the fuckers gone! Lets share tips.

(disclaimer: I look like I have mozzy bites on top of red sore skin. I'm pregnant and cried at the mirror this morning)

Oh I forgot to add my tip.
Sudocrem.
Although nothing is helping my face at the moment.

I go for metanium - more hardcore ; )

MilesHuntsWig · 01/03/2015 18:56

Put some toothpaste on it overnight (my SIL recommended this, I thought she was mental but it really helped)...

gaggiagirl · 01/03/2015 18:59

Metanium is pretty good I agree.

LaRoche Posay Effaclur duo. Amazing stuff.

WhereIsMyCoffee · 01/03/2015 19:01

Where does one buy metanium?

passthewineplz · 01/03/2015 19:06

metanium is nappy rash cream, chemist or supermarket.

I use witch doctor again you can buy it at the chemist or supermarket x

BuzzardBird · 01/03/2015 19:06

Go for an anti-inflammatory pain killer along with toothpaste (it dries it out).

MsMcWoodle · 01/03/2015 19:07

Toothpaste

GermanHouseCat · 01/03/2015 19:09

A dollop of mud mask on it overnight

duckfilledfattypuss · 01/03/2015 19:09

Whereismycoffee - you can get metanium in the baby section of most supermarkets or chemists. It's a nappy rash cream that comes in a yellow box. It's quite stinky and a very unpleasant yellow colour but does work on spots (and nappy rash).

PuppyMonkey · 01/03/2015 19:13

Plain white toothpaste

RJnomore · 01/03/2015 19:13

Definitely toothpaste. Dries the fuckers right up.

Wigeon · 01/03/2015 19:15

Does fancy toothpaste (whitening/ breath freshening , all that jazz) work, or does it have to be basic stuff?

FastWindow · 01/03/2015 19:18

I used to open my dad's bottle of Givenchy, place the mouth of the bottle over the spot then tip my head back. Stung (and stank) like a goodun but worked. Givenchy is evil stuff.
Sorry dad.

stardusty5 · 01/03/2015 19:29

Another vote for toothpaste. Works every time, even on those horroble, under the skin ones

stardusty5 · 01/03/2015 19:29

*horrible

gaggiagirl · 01/03/2015 20:48

fast I did the same with my mams Chanel no5. Sorry mam!
I'm going to have a crack at the toothpaste tonight.

Sudocreme is my go to spot treatment

Twinklestein · 01/03/2015 20:52

Avene Cicalfate, antibacterial but does not dry your skin up (that's what causes scars).

thenightsky · 01/03/2015 20:53

dab with dettol diluted with hot water before you go to bed. I find that works better than Sudocreme.

BuzzardBird · 01/03/2015 20:53

Don't forget the painkiller as it reduces the inflammation. They actually sell spot cream now with anti-inflammatories in it but I can't remember the brand.

Same thing works for sunburn in case you ever need to know.

nannyj · 01/03/2015 20:56

Mush a soluble aspirin into a paste then apply to the spot overnight.

gaggiagirl · 01/03/2015 21:00

twinkle I have la Roche posay cicaplast, is it similar, tell me more.

What anti inflammatory pain killers would you all recommend? Is paracetamol ok?

ThenBellaDidSomethingVeryKind · 01/03/2015 21:04

Definitely toothpaste.
