Throw your best, most reliable, foolproof, spot be gone remedies at me! I want the fuckers gone! Lets share tips.

(disclaimer: I look like I have mozzy bites on top of red sore skin. I'm pregnant and cried at the mirror this morning)

Another one for toothpaste or sudocrem

It should be ibuprofen but I don't think you can take that.

Lightly rub or press half a clove of raw garlic against it. Powerful natural antiseptic, it deflated a stye in my eye in about four minutes, it was astonishing.

Follow with aspirin mask.

(cut edge of the garlic, hence the halved clove. You can also press the garlic for its juice and paint that on it)

Also, preventatively: change your pillow case often, keep your hair clean, don't touch your face, and floss your teeth.

Ooh I'm a proper face picker!

  • Hibiscrub to clean the spot and surrounding area and help stop the infection spreading (also essential if you're going to squeeze)
- Some kind of acid toner (I like the green Vichy normaderm one, has salicylic and glycolic acid in) - Then either benzoyl peroxide or some kind of spot treatment with salicylic acid in - doesn't have to be expensive, I have the Clean and Clear one which was about 4 quid

However, my spots don't tend to be the sort that go down quickly. And then I squeeze/pick and they look worse. Trying to resist doing this to one atm.

But the above helps them heal.

Sounds mad but I use a hot tea bag on the odd big spot I get. Works a treat! I also use a cold tea bag for when I feel a cold sore coming on

Toothpaste toothpaste toothpaste! Dries it out by the morning and has the added bonus of smelling minty fresh!

LuluJakey1 · 01/03/2015 23:03

magnesium sulphate paste

Deathraystare · 02/03/2015 18:18

I used to dab with TCP lotion then the gel (that they no longer seem to do, damn them!!!). Overnight success!!
