Advice on warm boots for wearing to watch football ...

My ds plays football matches at least twice a week plus training etc and I am freezing at this time of year. I have a decent coat and can layer up but haven't found any footwear that can keep my feet warm. Does anyone have any they recommend?

I sympathise and have tried everything. The best ones ever are Dubarrys. Expensive yes, but long lasting. I have previously had Timerlands, the lining split within 9 months, Sorrels, the heel rubs and causes blisters, Hunters, ok but generally cold and Uggs, lovely and warm but no good for mud. So get the Dubarrys, they will pay for themselves in the end.

wellies, with sheepskin insoles and 2 pairs of socks!

My willies are cheapy asda ones, I brought sheepskin liners from amazon and I wear a normal pair of socks and either a pair of heatholders www.sportsdirect.com/heat-holders-thermal-socks-ladies--414215?colcode=41421507 or this type (I got mine from primark 2 pairs for £2) www.sportsdirect.com/campri-2pk-fluffy-socks-414208?colcode=41420891

if its dry I just wear my leather biker boots or knee high boots with sheepskin insoles. I do have some ugg boots but they aren't ugg boots in the traditional sense they are leather sturdy boots with sheepskin insoles o I just wear the warm socks with them www.uggaustralia.co.uk/chaney/1006042.html?dwvar_1006042_color=CHE#start=48&cgid=women-boots

this for rugby and lacrosse watching but the same thing, stood by a cold wet muddy pitch in the rain/wind/hale, watching ds play a match.

Never fails to amuse me :o My autocorrect doesn't like wellies much either.

I wear snow boots plus ordinary socks and ski socks to rugby. Sometimes
another pair of socks too.
