I need inspiration. Feel like I have nothing to wear for Christmas day and its my birthday too. Ideally wanted some kind of full skirted dress like taylor swift wears but mainly just want to look good :)

Love both of your links Ujjayi. That dress is perfect.

Plus it would look fab with a pinny on top! Grin

Lacey dress sale from wallis. Change just before guests appear and dinner nearly ready. Prepare veg/lay table in pyjamas.

I am wearing a bright red dress with velvet waist trim (Boden, last year) with white sequined short cardi - so nice festive colours.

We have a big extended family meal & everyone dresses festively and smart. I like an excuse to wear a nice dress.

I have never spent a day slobbing in jammies in my life - but I am up early doing the horses every morning, so I am always out and dressed bright and early, regardless of what day of the year it is & how ill I feel.

Pyjamas Xmas Smile

Lovely ujjayi I have ordered from asos loads of times and always been unhappy with the items and always returned them. You most have the secret asos knack of finding their decent stuff ;)

Boyfriend bought me a grey fair isle jumper from gap and a next one with polar bears.

Have a happy Christmas Eve everyone Xmas Smile

Whattheseithakas - I prescribe you a day in your jammies for Boxing Day Smile

Pyjamas until lunch, then jeans and Christmas jumper (going somewhere else for lunch).

I don't wear pj's and will be at mils this year so need to wear clothes but dome of these outfits sound very uncomfortable. I will stick with leggings and a tunic I think.

RonaldMcDonald · 24/12/2014 10:10

skinnies and a t shirt...christmas socks
dress in the evening as we are receiving

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/12/2014 11:58

I'm so pleased with what I'm wearing today that I might wear it again tomorrow!

Snake print mini dress
black cashmere jumper
black leggings

It's very comfortable and I feel like a Kid from Fame in it!

I won't really wear it again tomorrow, but it would have been the perfect Christmas day outfit. Comfortable, room to expand in, nicer than PJs but not too nice for cooking in.

Tomorrow is likely to be black skinnies and a black turtle neck, I think.

But what about the poor horses???

Seriously, getting up and out into the fresh air makes you feel a zillion times better than a day on the sofa ever could.

Jeans with a lovely top.
High heeled ankle boots and lots of bling.

Ujjayi · 24/12/2014 14:51

Flux500 & MakeMeWarm thank you Smile. I am wearing the "Oh La La" jumper now layered with loose fit white vest top & skinny black pleather trousers. Feeling very chic but cosy Wink. 3/4 sleeves usually bug me but these are fine.

Just pressed the red dress & it's looking loads better - was v crumpled when it arrived & I was a bit disappointed. Will try on later.

DuchessDisaster · 25/12/2014 05:25

I am on my own, but I think I will be wearing a pair of navy velvet trousers and a red cashmere polo neck jumper.

polyhymnia · 25/12/2014 09:13

Black skinnies and a long dark green 'Scandi' patterned top in silk and cashmere knit. A sort of lightweight Italian take on a Christmas jumper. R and B black patent Chester brogues for dashing around.
