Am I veering into "Nana bootees" territory with these boots?

Ignore the fact that they're from Cotton Traders , are these boots really old lady? I quite like the way they look with the leggings and thick socks, but I'd probably wear them under straight leg jeans (don't like skinnies on me) as a sort of desert boot.

If you do think they're not totally shocking, then which colour do you think is best? Apologies for the photos taken of a magazine page, I could find them on the website and link if better.

My Mum has a pair similar to this. She wears them with jeggings and thick socks. She's 81.

What does the Graphite look like in the 'flesh' ?

I fancy wine colour, but have a pair of boots that shade already - could do with black/grey.

I think they're alright - but I have proper sheepskin lined boots this winter for the first time and am evangelical about them, they are obscenely warm and comfy with bare feet - so boots like that I don't think look comfy at all in comparison. I have UGGs I got from Branch309 for £50. Not to everyone's taste etc but my word they are incredibly warm and like walking on clouds.

That was quick! Yes, graphite will be dark grey. They also do black but they're full price.

Mine arrived in the "wine" colour, but are going back. The colour is horrible! More rust than wine, not at all how it looks on the website. I like the style though, and will try to swap them for graphite.

The sizing seems quite generous. I'm a fairly consistent size 5, ordered a 5, and they would have lots of space for chunky socks. They are very, very comfy.

I see what you mean, they look nothing like a wine colour so I hope you're able to exchange them without paying extra postage. I'm pleased to hear they're very comfortable!
