Sir Geldof de Bob didn't look any better. Dh would probably wear a couple of the work shirts and shoes and thats it.

on the other hand I was pleased to find my new Gap cardigan featured in the saturday Times mag, but why did it say it cost £60 when I don't think it was more than £40?
I did point it out to dh though.....

yes i get annoyed at the mens issue

i actually thought Sir Bob looks rather sexy

but then, men who are potential great dads are always sexy to me

I wish they didn't bother with those style for men issues either in any mag, because all the clothes they come up with are rubbish anyway! And they still can't come up with a decent pair of trousers for men that is remotely interesting.

Report
nailpolish · 02/10/2006 14:13

or maybe it was just the styling

Report
nailpolish · 02/10/2006 14:13

LOL my dh said that "where do they FIND these clothes?"

Report
FIMBOnABroomstick · 02/10/2006 14:16

My dh was phsl at the trousers with the turn ups that stopped on the ankle.

DH's eyebrows couldn't have been raised any higher. Jeremy Milne's son....

Where do they find these children?

Is it really like that in London?!

What you mean he doesn't want to be wearing a beige chunky knit cardigan this year either?! I know how he feels.

Report
beckybrastraps · 02/10/2006 14:18

I'm really not sure I'd want dh to wear "interesting" trousers.

Report
Gobbledispook · 02/10/2006 14:19

Ha ha - true, true. Dh wouldn't be seen dead in most of the stuff in there

I liked the father and son comments - there was one son said of his dad 'he speaks french so I can't understand him' and his dad said something funny too but I can't remember it

oh that's interesting then!

By interesting i didn't mean really wacky golf-style trousers or anything. Just something that wasn't beige, black, blue or brown. Beyond jeans, men's trousers suck.

beckybrastraps · 02/10/2006 14:24

Sadly, beyond "beige, black, blue or brown" trousers, they do start to look like you're trying too hard. Interesting is NOT a good look trousers-wise. Sorry. Top half maybe...

Well I agree kind of, I suppose I am moaning that it's just rather boring isn't it.

Women have an array of things to choose from, dress, skirt, trousers, leggings, different colours, patterns...

hmmm. Interesting men's trousers? Sounds like you're going down the path of Boden 'fun' tartan and pink cords.
