I need a lovely leather biker jacket for my mid-life crisis. Please help.

That's it really. I want to wear doc martens and a leather jacket (and probably some other clothes too, I wouldn't want to shock the neighbours). There are no decent shops nearby, so online it will have to be. I have quite long arms and find lots of jackets can be a bit short on me. I'm 5' 9" so it would have to be on the longer side as I don't want to be showing midriff.

Soft leather would be nice too (so not a real biker jacket afterall).

Please help!

twinklestein what's the sizing like on the Muuba jackets? I'm a 10, they have 8 or 12... I'm thinking a biker jacket needs to be bigger rather than smaller..

What's your experience of their cut/sizing? They are v. Bargainacous!

It depends on the style, some of them come up more slim-fitting than others, and also it depends whether you want to wear chunky knits underneath in the winter. I find the shoulders come up a big big.

Ah yes, I found that seller earlier. Some lovely jackets.

I found my size 12 fitted nicely but I certainly couldn't wear anything thick underneath it.

I have just ordered two more jackets

Due to the welsh aspect I am risking the lamb leather (really? I did not know this was a useable commodity beyond sheepskin coats).

Have also ordered a lovely Oasis jacket.

I will report back.

And no I'm not keeping them all!
