Aging very fast

I have always looked about 10 years younger than my age but all of a sudden at 36 something happened.

My forehead is very lined, crinkley and dry looking and looks older than 36.

My hair now plaits into a plait the thickness of barely two fingers. And it's apperance and texture has changed.

My hands look very dry and old.

What can I do? It's like i've aged years within 6 months.

I'm of the opposite opinion Suzanne - i fail to see how anyone could think that bitter black gloop which makes your pulse shoot up, could ever be anything but dreadful for your body.

I am happy to look a bit worse and drink coffee, I am the same with alcohol.

Oh me too. I drink guinness, so as bitter black gloop goes it's pretty much the worst Grin .

My resting pulse is 45 bpm, I need coffee to stop me from lapsing into a coma Wink

On the thyroid front, you say you've been told all bloods are normal by the doctor, but please don't just take their word for it. You might be sub-hypothyroid as someone else on here was and they will tell you all bloods are normal still.

Many doctors are very poorly informed about thyroid problems. I have an underactive thyroid and still felt terrible with medication despite all my readings being in the "normal" range. I eventually found a sympathetic doctor who agreed to up my dose, and I have now lost weight and feel substantially better. So get hold of the specific readings for TSH and T3 from your test, and ask what the "normal" range is according to them. If your TSH is towards the top of the normal range and your T3 towards the bottom, you may still have underactive thyroid - you "aging" symptoms certainly sound like classic underactive thyroid problems.
