Can anyone help me remember what these are called?

Those pretty little things you put on your shoulders to make them look nice and to also cover them up a bit. They are quite decorative.

I have to baptise DD this summer and Orthodox churches don't allow exposed shoulders.

The thing I'm thinking about is more of an accessory than an item of clothing.

The cape I mean is an accessory it only just covers the tops of your shoulders and ties round your neck ... Can't think where I last saw one though !!

These things are very short and just cover the shoulders. I'll be in a very hot country so can't have something long sleeved.

Feathered cape ? Doesn't sound as good as trickling capelet. (But then nothing does)

I'm sure we're thinking of the same accessory maz the last one I saw was lace and just sat on the shoulders but didn't go as far down as the arms ?
