Opinions please on this slightly different wedding dress (other suggestions welcome)

Would love to hear opinions on this wedding dress. It's sold as an evening dress rather than a wedding dress but what are your thoughts on it being worn as a wedding dress? Obviously it is not white, but it is still pale and weddingy, I think?

I know this might sound silly, but I am worried that if I get a high street dress (this dress is from Phase 8) that is not technically a wedding dress (and is not even white), one of the guests might wear the same thing? Am I being paranoid?!

I'm size 6-8, 5 Foot 7 tall and in my early 30s
I have cool or clear winter colourings (dark brown hair and pale skin)
I suppose I kind of have Kate Middleton's figure although I am far uglier than her

Any other suggestions welcome, although please bear in mind I am quite flat chested don't suit strapless, so anything strapless is ruled out. Ditto anything low cut. Ideally I would like something slinky!

Budget is up to £500.

Thanks Thanks

Let's all buy the dress and turn up at the OP's wedding.

It's a gorgeous dress. Absolutely agree that you should get it, and doubt that anyone else would wear something like it as a guest.

I wore a gold dress for my wedding. Was a "prom" dress from House of Fraser (can't remember the brand). I think that people should get married in whatever colour they want.
