I've got very similar colouring to you yellow and I've just started wearing a more orangey lipstick and finding it suits me too after years of pinks and plums. Maybe it is the darker hair.

YellowStripe · 13/06/2014 22:20

I think I'll be busy at the make-up counters tomorrow!

Your new style looks great - fresh youthful and chic.

Cocolepew · 14/06/2014 08:52

Do you still love it?
did you wake up looking like this?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/06/2014 09:22

LOL Coco - that's exactly what I look like every morning! But all I have to do is dip my head under the tap and then blast with the hair dryer for two minutes and I'm sorted.

That is EXACTLY what I looked like coco !

But it was amazing to wash it - I keep feeling the really short bit at the back and thinking it needs to be shorter ... combed into place, having a cuppa, and it should be ready to blast for two mins tops!

And yes, I do realise I am bizarrely and unnecessarily excited about a haircut Grin

I can understand your excitement - its made a huge difference! Well done for being brave - it's really paid off.

Pollywallywinkles · 14/06/2014 10:21

It looks fantastic.

YellowStripe · 14/06/2014 10:22

Tony and Guy wax

Coco I've ordered some of this balm/wax - different to what you suggested, but I fancied giving it a try.

*Toni. Obviously.

Wow just wow. . . It's a lovely style and as many have said, takes years of you.

SuperFlyHigh · 14/06/2014 10:26

You do look amazing (years younger!) and you must get that lipstick!

I agree with products kms used to do a putty or moulding paste that I used when I had short hair.

Cocolepew · 14/06/2014 10:37

Oh that looks good, I sometimes use the John Frieda brunette serum, if my hair is very short, that T&G one is a better price.
Though Im going to let my hair go grey silver Shock

YellowStripe · 14/06/2014 10:44

I wondered about letting the grey grow through (I'm about 40% grey) - but the stylist wouldn't let me! I'm loving being brunette again. I feel all empowered haha!

HenI5 · 14/06/2014 10:54

It looks amazing Yellow, a radical change that really suits you.

YellowStripe · 14/06/2014 10:58

Thank you again for all the lovely comments. Although when I go to work on Monday, I'm anticipating hearing whispered "who's that?!" comments from behind, only to be followed by a disappointed "oh, yeah, it's just YellowStripe" Grin
