Hell fire what to wear to posh wedding

Please posh ladies help me!

I am going to a wedding in a blooming cathedral next month, it is black tie and cocktail dress/evening dress affair, what the frig should I wear???

I posted here yesterday with some dresses I liked from pretty dress co (can't link thread from iPhone but it's titled 'can I wear navy to a wedding'), however since then DP has casually mentioned this criteria! I am a commoner at heart but do scrub up fairly well, 5'7, 40 yrs old, 12/14 hourglass shape big boobs.......

Any suggestions/advice great fully received :)

Smile Would matt silver do the trick for accessories? Or even Marge Blue shoes and a silver bag/jewelry. I'd steer away from a matching wig, though,:-) .

I can't quite decide between silver (but not glittery) or something completely contrasting like bright pink for example. Have tried nude and team shoes and it just doesn't look quite right. The silver shoes tried so far too sparkly.

Was thinking maybe a large bracelet / cuff and drop earrings (have short hair) no necklace. I really am out of my comfort zone. Was thinking of a change of hair colour but agree blue a step too far

Not sure I'm curvy. But I do have quite wide shoulders and hips.

you are not wide at all! I am wider of hip I'm sure, think you look great in it, hoping it looks as nice with blond hair.
