Am on a quest to find light weight summer trousers that are NOT linen trousers and not chinos - cos I find them almost as hot as wearing jeans and I found these - they're so bloody comfy that I may be unable to think properly - can I wear these.... Please? ?

I like them. Where are they from?

Add something with a but of a heel to lengthen your legs if you are worried.

DillydollyRIP · 28/05/2014 20:35

They do look like they'd be comfy and airy.

Koothrapanties · 28/05/2014 20:37

Bit of a heel, not but of a heel.

boringlivingroom · 28/05/2014 20:37

Comfy, I'm sure they are.

But they look silly.

Do they have them in other colours?

Laska42 · 28/05/2014 20:37

Yup wear em.. they look fine..

ChippyMinton · 28/05/2014 20:38

Keep the top half plain and simple and you will rock them.

Sparkletastic · 28/05/2014 20:38

I like. I want. Where from?

pootlebug · 28/05/2014 20:39

They look comfy - but not very flattering.

Thislife · 28/05/2014 20:40

Try a different print?

trinity0097 · 28/05/2014 20:40

To wear as pyjamas or around the house fine, but it wouldn't wear them put at all. Any harem trousers look stupid IMHO and the pattern is awful!

Sorry!

Pufflemum · 28/05/2014 20:40

Ok to wear at home but I wouldn't wear them in public. Harem pants are a difficult look to pull off. What about a midi or maxi skirt?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 28/05/2014 20:41

Bucking the trend, but it's a, 'No' from me, sorry. I think they look like pyjama bottoms.

MummyTheGregor · 28/05/2014 20:45

They feel like pj bottoms too... from new look (inspire)... surprised at the yes-es I thought I was going mad! I'll trial them on holiday where no one knows me!

Love maxi skirts but sometimes I just can't be arsed to shave my legs!!! Hench the quest for summer trousers....

They're not flattering.
I think its the print that's the problem. The shape might be ok in a plain fabric.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/05/2014 10:28

Honestly, I think a maxi skirt would be more flattering, and would cover the hairy legs anyway!

FreeLikeABird · 29/05/2014 10:31

Not very flattering, I do think harem trousers are hard to pull off though, maybe try maxi skirt or dress like others have suggested.

dexter73 · 29/05/2014 10:49

They aren't flattering. I agree with trying a maxi skirt.

EduardoBarcelona · 29/05/2014 10:49

NO NO NO!

dexter73 · 29/05/2014 10:57

I think the problem with them is that they are tight around the ankle. Your ankle looks really tiny which makes your calves look bigger. I think you would look better with some trousers that are wider at the bottom.

EduardoBarcelona · 29/05/2014 10:58

they look a little like those fabric bags people put old carrier bags in

Not flattering really. I agree with all the maxi skirt/dress suggestions. Who says you need to shave your legs anyway?

squoosh · 29/05/2014 12:10

I'd happily wear them in the comfort of my own home. That's about it.
