Can you recommend me a REALLY good anti-perspirant deodrant?

I have been using the Dove deodrant stick for years as it wa the only one I ever found that worked. But now it has stopped working and I have no idea where to start :-/

I work in a shop that doesn't believe in air conditioning and I'm sweating (and smelling) like crazy and it's so embarrassing. I went through one shift with my arms stuck to my side because I smelt so much.

I bought a Mitchum stick deodrant after reading good reviews but it does nothing. Have started taking 2 tops to work to change half way through my shift because it's that bad!

Can anyone give me some suggestions?

Oh also - I've stopped using shower gels/creams recently and have started using simple soap instead which has really helped - think the way soap dries out the skin really helps, and I just feel cleaner.

My daughter was prescribed Driclor for a while, and it did do the trick. She appears to have outgrown her perspiration problem now, but I would not have been happy with her using it as a long-term solution, as it contains aluminium, which is not good, as the body absorbs it.

Mitchum roll-on has been the ideal one for us, with no side-effects. (Can't speak for the stick, but wasn't too impressed with the spray)

Driclor is fantastic.

I go through phases when deodorant doesn't seem to work and I use it, but only one application about 3x per year. Then any old deodorant works like a charm.

The first time, I used it on broken skin. OMG. I won't do that again.

Another vote for a Mitchum roll on! I've used it for years. Make sure you let it dry before getting dressed. Hope you find one that works for you :)

Just in case....Sure and Dove cream (the 48hour ones) are great. Worth spending £5 a time to prevent embarrassing "is that me?"

Ive been using driclor for nearly 20 years (yikes) after first getting it on prescription.
I only use it once I begin to start sweating again which can be months in between now and it comes back gradually so I definitely dont use it every night or id have no skin left on my armpits !!
