Which ones would you choose? I've heard good things about their current free gift offer at Boots, so was going to treat myself tomorrow.

I usually get the double wear light, but haven't tried any other products and they're blardy expensive

Any tips appreciated please.

Right! I've been and bought the Advanced Night Repair Serum (Eye) and my Double Wear Light. The reason I chose these is they're about the only thing you don't get in your free gift!

Here's what you get, all in a lovely waterproof make-up bag:

Advanced Night Repair - 7ml
DayWear Creme deluxe gift size - 15ml
Sumptuous Extreme Mascara - 2.8ml
Pure Color make-up (choose from subtle or bold shades - I went for subtle and got the Rose Tea lipstick)
Lipstick - full size
EyeShadow Quad
Intense kajal eyeliner (02 blackened cocoa)
Nail lacquer (black plum 5ml)

Remembered I had a £5 off when you spend £20 or more Boots voucher so used that - bonus!

Very happy Smile Thanks for all your advice.

Haha

Do you not have a large-ish Boots nearby, that has an EL counter? Just call and ask if they have of the gifts there?

You can't normally get gift time stuff online Diamond - you have to go to a counter (so the naice lady can sell you even more stuff Wink)

Every time I wear the Daywear cream people comment on how well I look. It gives you a bit of a tan and a healthy sheen.
I have combination yellow based skin and I put it on first as a moisturiser and skin primer, then put on my Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser and some powder on my nose (hate make up but need some coverage for rosacea), then I highlight cheekbones and brown one with the Daywear again to give me a bit of a glow. Love love love love love it. It is definitely my desert island product and I buy it as a pregnancy present for everyone!
However, my sister-in-law, who has very pink/white fair dry skin hated it and it looked really patchy and weird on her. Another friend found it made her skin itch.

'Brown one' meant to be 'brow bone'!

SlinkyB · 29/05/2014 08:58

Which Daywear cream are you referring to thirty? I've been using the normal spf15 day creme I got free in my gift bag last week, but find it rather thick? Love the fresh cucumber scent though! I keep thinking it's going to give me spots due to the thickness but so far so good.

I too don't like wearing make up but need to cover my acne-scarred veiny skin!

Is it this one? DayWear

Have you tried the DayWear BB cream yet? I use the double wear light foundation but am tempted by the BB cream

Definitely voting for the Pure Colour Envy lipsticks - they are so pigmented, creamy luxurious and moisturising but still stay put.

Sali Hughes from the Guardian reviewed them here - I have the shade she is wearing in the photo (Intense Nude) and it's fabulous.

EL is very very expensive, if you don't mind me saying so.
I don't think any pot of cream is worth £50.

SlinkyB · 29/05/2014 18:05

The Day Wear creme I linked to above starts at £12 for a travel size, but I agree I'd never spend £50 on a pot of cream. paid £38 for some eye serum last week mind

I have recently changed from using Clinique @ £35 a pot to Olay Regenerist RRP £29.99 but on Amazon about £15 and I love it.
