If you have really pale skin, how do you do bare legs?

I want to get my legs out with summer dresses and skirts (before I'm too old) but am so put off by how white and blotchy I look. They almost look patchy bluish / purplish, as you can see the veins etc....

I've heard stockings, but really with a sun dress and sandals that doesn't work. Make up as well, but won't that sweat off and leave marks everywhere?

So what works to make you feel more confident at leaving the house with bare legs?

Sally Hansen spray on legs. A good pedicure too.

Also, Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin body butter has changed my body skin.

I am a blueish white person and when I exposed my legs in a small Portugese town people did stare. Luckily the UK is full of peelly wally folk. The varicose veins on my ankle (post surgery) are a PITA but I don't reckon anyone will be looking too closely.

I live in a country where my legs are out a minimum of 6 of 12 months a year. My skin is not the greatest and my legs are probably the worst part of my body ... anyway, I swear by Vita Liberata body blur. This stuff is amazing and will survive an ocean or pool swim. For a fake tan (week long) solution, nothing beats a spray tan but st tropez everyday tanning moisturiser is also excellent

The Laura Geller baked body frosting is very good, it can be used wet or dry. It covers imperfections and is so easy to apply. Lasts for ages too. I got mine from QVC after watching the demo years ago, I've since bought it for so many people who love.
