How much do you pay your hairdresser?

I currently use a hairdresser that charges £68 for a full head of foils, cut and blowdry. Then £9 for toner so £77 total.

Seven years ago I used to pay £120 so I think this is pretty good. I've also found places that aren't so good but charge around £30/40.

How much do you pay so I can compare if I'm paying too much please?! I don't think I am

Roots coloured, random scattering of foils, conditioning treatment, cut and blow dry £60. Quite good I think. (in the 'burbs south of Glasgow)

Raskova I am in Northampton and not long got my hair cut for the first time in ages at a brilliant salon - will PM you the details if you like! Prices are reasonable for the quality I think.

I got a restyle (going from almost waist length hair to chin length!) inc wash, cut and blowdry by a level 3 stylist - would have cost £36 but I paid £28 with student discount. The stylist did a brilliant job so I would have been happy to pay full price. Cut and blow dry at the salon costs between £20 for a level 1 stylist and £39 for a level 4 stylist.

BTW this salon gives a proper blow dry too, no straighteners unless you ask for them.

About £75 for roots, emulsify, cut and blow dry. Belfast.

VitoCorleone · 05/05/2014 13:50

I get my roots bleached, a toner put on, blow dry and trim every 7-8 weeks.

I pay £47

I have a half head of highlights, cut and blow dry every six to eight weeks. £100.00. Hairdresser is in Clapham.

Oooh yes please myrtle! I do looove this lady tho! I've had it done yesterday and again on the 25th so there's good coverage and then she'll just put it straight on my scalp. Think that'll be £48. Can't remember if that includes toner.

It's about £130 for a half head of foils (2 colours) and cut/dry. I think more like £150 for a full head. I go to Danny Oh in Islington as I love how good he makes me hair. Plus he is sweet - makes me tea and gives me a pile of magazines and leaves me to enjoy some Peace and Quiet.

£80 for half head of foils and cut and blow dry. In the south east. It's a killer but can't be doing with the grey.
