My new one arrived today. It seems a bit more powerful & rotates more quickly. My fringe has been tamed again.

Legologgo · 26/04/2014 11:34

ooh when did you send yours back?

Buy them in Boots slightly more expensive but you get points- they exchange them if problems I am on my third.....reckon I will never have to buy another.

Three year guarantee rocks ....but they are pretty poor and I know nobody who has had one last more than 18months.

Germgirl · 27/04/2014 09:32

I bought a new one as my old one was ancient (it'd sat in a drawer for ages before I started to use it).
The new one is lovely. But I've kept the receipt for when it invariably dies in a years time.

VillaVillekulla · 28/04/2014 11:30

Lego that's amazing. I'm going to call them now.

VillaVillekulla · 28/04/2014 14:31

I called them up and they told me it was just within guarantee and they gave me an address to send it back to for repair or replacement. Thanks very much for this thread. I would never have thought to send it back without the receipt. Thanks

Legologgo · 28/04/2014 14:40

mine not here still peers out of window

Are they really good then? I've been wanting to get one for ages but I don't know anyone that has one so I'm a bit reluctant to buy one.

Nibblyboy · 29/04/2014 17:01

i can now answer the original OP

( for its me!)

I got the new one today and the bristles are WAY more powerful and clingy - it requires all your strength to pull the brush back off!

Pootles2010 · 30/04/2014 08:54

Sorry Easter and others - it's now gone!

VillaVillekulla · 08/05/2014 15:38

Just an update. I called Babyliss and they said mine was still within the guarantee period (they could tell from the code on it). I sent it back and they've called to say they'll be replacing it for free with the new model.

I'm really chuffed. I had been thinking about chucking mine and buying a new one. Now I'm getting a new one for free.

Thanks
