So I literally have no eyebrows, tried pens and pencils, what else can i try...

I have approx half an eyebrow on either side. I've had this since birth, they've always been like that and extremely sparse too. Im getting really jealous of all the people with fab brows at the moment. my most recent purchase was the laura geller triple pen thingy, complete waste of money! every colour it comes in goes on red so my brows just look really badly drawn on. apart from that tried most eyebrow pencils, a few powders etc. just nothing seems to look natural on me.

I think tattoos may be the next step but i really want to try everything before that as im not s keen on tattooed brows. especially from going to hardly anything to bold, full on drawn on lines.

What else should i try?

Strangely enough, I have just this minute received something about individual brow hairs that you can glue on. Faceframe is the name. I guess they have a website?

I paid more than 400 initial.procedure then less.than 200 for.top ups . I think the priceight be on the Debra Robson website or you can email and ask.

Cheshireblue · 05/10/2015 14:50

cestlavielife was that for tattooing or microblading?

cestlavielife · 05/10/2015 16:16

i think its micro blading it s individual "brush strokes" not one thick line...

MrsJoyceee · 05/10/2015 16:31

Definitely recommend HD BROWS, i seriously overplucked in my youth and after a course of about 3-4 appointments I seen a massive improvement. Bought some stuff from them to promote eyebrow and eyelash growth too, combination of both has resulted in a drastic improvement which I seem to able to maintain with just the odd appointment now and again.

Cheshireblue · 05/10/2015 17:04

Thanks cestlavielife! Do you like them? I love my HD but microblading seems less upkeep!

cestlavielife · 05/10/2015 21:23

Love them used to dread rushing out and having forgotten to pencil or eg swimming .

I'm surprised no one has mentioned anastasia brow whizz pencil, there are loads of shades, and a few with zero red tones at all. I use taupe which is a good universal colour. And the spoolie on it is great too.

I would also do a a little research into brow tattooing in your area, the results wildly differ depending who has done them.

These popped up on my fb feed the other day and I think they look amazing!

I plucked my eyebrow virtually to thin line back in the 60s when it was the in thing!!!
They've never grown back properly!! Just ere and there.
I've tried lots of pencils, powders, gels cheap, expensive but just end up like a curved shaped line!

So I took the plunge and did my research and got them tattooed by
www.karenbetts.co.uk/
Best thing I've ever done!!! No spending time in front off mirror every morning trying to get the shape right, not to dark, etc etc

I even had my very sparse hairs in the wrong place!!!!
They measure the size/shape off your eyes also colour to decide where the brow line should be.

It's expensive but the overall effect it brilliant to me well worth it, just defines your face.

At last I have brows

BerylStreep · 10/10/2015 15:47

What sort of price did you pay Haribo?

Is £500 about the norm?

Haribogirl · 10/10/2015 17:36

I was very scared about having tattoo done because once it's on its on!!!

With having light brown hair I didn't want to end up with thick black one aghhh

There was a promotion on at a beauty show in Manchester with all the big names there in the beauty industry and because I'd sign up to Karen Betts they sent me an email saying you could go to the show and have it done for £395 with a top up 4-6 weeks later. This is because, as your eyebrow heal they leave a crust sometimes so a top up is a good idea to fill in where it's missing.

Jumpenpips100 · 10/10/2015 21:07

Well I have decided to go for microblading after reading you comments thanks all. I contacted my local salon in the south west have to wait a month for a appt but can go in before for a consultation to discuss. As I am nervous that is what I will do.

Haribogirl · 10/10/2015 22:36

You don't need to be nervous
If they are as good as they say they are you should have no problem

At Karen Betts they measure your brows where they should be approx for your face
They then pencil it in to give you an idea what the shape will be like, then she shows you at least 3 colours and tells you the one she would recommend but you decide!

Then the numbing cream goes on! Colours mixed. It takes about an hour half hour for the chat at beginning measuring colour etc

Good luck, you should love them

Jumpenpips100 · 14/10/2015 22:27

Thanks for all your help. A appointment in November with a consultation in 2 weeks. Thanks all.

I know this post is old but new to me. How did the HD brows work out for you?
