Whats your "go to" outfit for a mid week dinner with the girls?

Going out for a girlie dinner later - nothing fancy but I'm lacking outfit inspiration.

What would you wear?

Black cigarette pants, cream blouse, black pointy suede courts,

Black pleather skinnys, green lace top, leopard print heels

Jeans (skinny or straight), shirt, Boyfriend cardi, wedge boots. However thats my outfit for just about everything!

Equipment silk shirt

Last night I wore:

Cos puff sleeve jumper but in dark maroon

Maje black skinnies

Zara black leather pointy heels

It worked, I think!

Cos dress and boots, big coat big statement electic sheep scarf

Blue skinnies, navy heels, blue and cream sleeveles top (kind of bobbly tweed).

green skirt, black tights, black top, heeled ankle boots

Skinny jeans, black blazer, heels, black silky top with little flowers

Skinny cords, cami vest, lacy embellished vest, cropped cardigan, ankle boots.

Long sleeved top under a jersey dress
Tights
Earrings
Ankle boots

black 7/8 trousers
White or grey top

Where do u get blouses to go with jeans ( never done but you have inspired me!

I never get invited out to dinner but I'd wear a dress, black tights, low heeled black ankle boots and either a biker jacket or some sort of cardigan.

Skinny or straight leg jeans, navy shirt, heels, blazer or biker jacket. Statement eyes and jewellry ( but not too much !)

My fav bootcut jeans in dark vintage colour with a simple white shirt, some long beads and heeled boots. Or shortish denim skirt with same shirt. I also have a well cut wool dress that is a failsafe too.

Wiggle or tea dress with seamed stockings/hold ups. Heels and red lippy. Faux fur or trench coat dependent on weather.

All outfits sound good, and similar to what I'd wear myself, except I'd wear pretty/ stylish flats or flattish ankle boots.

I'm miles older than the OP, but the one thing that fascinates me is how great a majority say 'heels' of some kind, even though:

• all the fashion press are saying flats are now most 'in' footwear ( great news for those of us who hate heels!)

• feet will be under the table all evening anyway.

Tastes differ and each to their own but just curious why most people feel heels an essential ingredient for going out in a female (or any) group.
