What's your favorite perfume?

I haven't bought myself one for a looooong time. Not that I don't have any now. DH buys me one bottle each time he is away on business… always Chanel. Current ones in use are No. 19 and Allure. We came to the conclusion that it's probably because DH saw Brad Pitt in the ads. So it became completely acceptable for the DH to buy women's perfume.

Frederic Malle Une Rose is my favourite but I also teally like Tauer's Rose Chypre.

Jo Malone Vetyver or Prada at the moment

Botanics no.1 liz earle, prada d'iris, chanel no 19, clarins eau dynamisante.

Brices it's fine, I have over 50 bottles open at the moment. But you must store them properly or they'll turn. I store mine in a dark, cool cupboard and all of them in their boxes. Light and heat are the enemies of perfume, so putting them on your dressing table is not a good idea, unless you plan to use them up quickly.

My current top 3 - Creed Jardin Amalfi, Frederic Malle Carnal Flower, by Kilian Love don't be shy. Tomorrow, it'll probably be 3 others!

Guerlain Mitsouko or shalimar. The ones that brighten my day.

Midnight Poison by Dior. I LUFFS IT!!!

I tried the "new" Clinique Calyx, not sure about thiis very strident isn't it?
I have an article from Good Housekeeping which has the classic perfumes which have always been available, might start here.

Calyx is a bit of a classic, but I've not sniffed the new one. If you like it, go for it. Perfume should make you happy! Good idea to start with the classics, it will guide you towards the right types eg chypres, orientals, gourmands etc etc

And I have to admit to having Britney Spears midnight fantasy as the smell is delish!!!

I went in totally the opposite direction on my wedding day though and wore Vera Wang Princess, now every time I smell it it instantly brings back lovely memories.

Britney Spears believe it's dirt cheap but is a beautiful patchouli/praline mix, sweet but grown up.

Currently have Marc Jacobs Lola, DKNY drop of verbena and Lady Million on the go but always revert back to the Britney Spears one!
