Recommend to me a cleanser where I don't have to splash my face like a TV ad

I hate having to splash my face, especially at night - I don't like going to bed with wet hair and the water drips down my arms, getting my pyjama sleeves all wet Confused I don't mind a wet face cloth to remove, but when cleansers say "apply to damp skin" I immediately feel soggy cloth on my arms. Are there any cleansers I can just slap directly onto my face at night without any fannying about over the sink? (Me: late 30s, oily tendencies but in a very dry climate, moderate budget, prefer non-animal-tested stuff). Ta!

Hopefully, that Clarins one sounds like the sort of thing I need - something where the greatest effort is to shake the bottle before use Grin Volestair, would that even get it wet enough for those products? The ones that need a lather surely need it to be pretty soggy?

"I just use make up remover wipes - cleansing and toning in one. You can tear them in half so they last longer."

They aren't great for regular use as they aren't as thorough as something like a hot cloth cleanser.

I quite the look of the no.7 hot cloth cleanser, anyone tried this? 3 for 2 on no.7 at the moment too.

Bab I am all about lazy cleansing! Getting the clarins one has made the difference between taking make up off in the evening and falling into bed half 25% of the time without doing it. Plus it really agrees with my insanely sensitive yet spot prone skin.

another vote for Bioderma here - so gentle, smells of nothing, looks like water but does the business removing even waterproof mascara - have been using it for a couple of years now (sometimes double cleansing with other products) but it's my 'go to' cleanser and i've tried them all Smile

good luck and let us know how you get on!
