Nice handwash, that doesn't dry your hands or cost the earth?

We've just finished renovating a house and I have this not at all pretentious idea that I'd like posho hand wash in the guest WC. Would rather not spend a fortune and want something that isn't drying.

Any ideas?

Babyliss and Harding £2 in Tesco long lasting and non drying

Maverick66 · 21/01/2014 18:53

That should read Bayliss not Babyliss

Bayliss and Harding is very drying IMO, it's really cheap stuff - it used to be sold in pound shops and Body Care and not sure why it's seen as posh now Hmm.

A bar of proper olive oil soap will work wonders.

Bayliss and. Harding is awful totally agree.

Body Shop Shea butter bar of soap is lovely on my hands.

Other than that I use Molten Brown myrrh musket and cypress. £11 a bottle from Molten Brown outlet store, lasts for ages.

Ooh yes Body Shop shea/olive/coconut/cocoa butter soaps are great.

Thanks for so many suggestions! I shall definitely have a look at Champneys and the olive oil one sounds really nice too.

I've tried Bayliss in the past and, whilst I love the smell, I found it really drying.

I had some hand wash in a pump bottle for Christmas! A peachy colour but was very impressed, when my friend apologised for giving me a "cheapy" avon product I shushed her as it was better than my usual hand wash! Very pleased with it.

I decant Bert's Bees Ginger and lemon shower gel into a Crabtree and Evelynn bottle, my hands are nowhere near as sore and dry as they were when I used standard hand soap.
