Need a beauty boost! Starting to feel older than my years. Any tips?

So as my name suggests, I'm 29. This isn't old, I know, but over the past year or so, I've been feeling I look a fair bit older than I used to. Never get bloody IDd anymore Grin

I'm not sure what it is. I use good serums, moisturiser with spf 30 and wear face masks once a week - once a fortnight. My skin is still in good condition, so I can't really work out what's aging me, but something's changed. I don't have loads of lines or anything, like I say, I think I just need a boost.

Maybe some professional facials at the salon.....can anyone recommend anything?

Hope I don't come across as being really vain or anything, but it's really getting me down.

Have read that facial massages can be good for giving your skin a "radiant glow", which sounds good to me Smile Anyone tried this? Any good?

Be great to hear some of your tips.

Your levels have to be over 150 and you need to be taking 40000 units of vit d for about three months to risk over dosing on it, so it's very unlikely, and very safe to take a lot more than the RDA.

It's not about overdosing though, it is about it affecting your calcium and parathyroid hormone levels. Can affect different people in different ways.

I read it can affect magnesium levels tooelspeth - I am taking a supplement.
After my Saturday night wine and pastafest, I am happy to report I only had a small flare up of rosacea on my nose - brilliant. That was with about 2 mouthfuls of pasta only and a jeraboam of red wine.
Normally, a flare up would last ages after buckets of merlot but my face was completely clear by Monday.
I think the D3 must really be well into my system now to do that so will scale back to RDA again.
Dying to know if others are feeling/looking better.

worldgonecrazy · 27/01/2014 14:57

I bought the D3 and have not noticed any difference. As a disclaimer, other than a red nose, my skin is pretty good anyway, so maybe I'm expecting miracles. Sad

Me too. No changes in my bone pain, either. Ah well, at least they were on offer at Holland & Barrat.
