clarks shoes - you can SEE the buggers or order online

white stuff - not up to date

gap - n o nline ordering

M&S - crap descriptions eg no info on washing/cleaning, and the pics are rubbish.

any clothing site in flash where you can't link directly to an outfit but have to say instead, "oh it's the marjorie hat in putrid lime, third line down on page 9 of accessories under ladies"

M&S, poisson? I often find that their pics of dark coloured clothes are impossible to see any detail on. It's just one big black/dark blue blob. Maybe it's my monitor?

Ditto Gap (cos of no online ordering) and Coast, also Kew - functionality crap IMO, and Zara - cos they don't have everything on the website.

second Coast, and add la redoute and vertbaudet
On Clarks Topshop etc I don't mind the Flash but it takes so long to unfurl every blimmin menu.

ooh yes, next. can't stand. very anti next in all regards actually.

also hate anything where they display just a few items per page so you have to scroll through 94 pages to view all items. why not just show them all?

house of fraser and bennetton also website-less still.

wonder about gap. i used to think maybe they just don't have the behind-the-scenes ops and IT for it, but they do online shopping in the US.

and debenhams would be good if it wasn't so damned slooooooowwwww.

i like office and dune for shoes - easy to browse. and i actually don't mind the top shop style layouts (dotty ps the same).

they have this search facility so you can check things are in stock

and they are, so you go

miles and miles and miles

to find that they are in stock but on a high shelf so no-one can get them down for you till the shop is shut and they can get the forklift out
