I will fill you all in later, however the bottom of it is I have 1k to spend on myself as I look , well shit.

I'm a size ten, 5'7, slim build with small tiny boobs but long slim legs and a decent arse, fair complexion, dark eyes and long dark hair - if anyone can tell me what styles and colours etc will suit all that I would be eternally grateful!

Also, where can I shop that is half decent but not too expensive as I want lots of casual pieces. Sahm mum of two, 29 years old btw.

Please suggest styles/colours/shapes/ shops/ anything to get me going and looking fab! Thanks

The voles were vile and DD just really wasn't buying into the 'it was because the cats loved her so much they wanted bring her presents'. DS was very interested in the skeleton structure of the headless one - so that was a nice little biology lesson Wink

I would also have a daily cleaner and ironing lady if I were her. I wonder what WIT's ultimate career plan is - can't see her staying at Red forever - she's building her own profile so well.

I agree with some others to purchase some good quality items - on sale! Good fitting jeans, personally I love Goldsign Misfits which are extremely comfortable as well as flattering, cashmere tops, ankle boots like Acne pistol and perhaps a lovely winter coat and some cashmere/silk scarves (some at good price on Achica right now). Enjoy your spending spree!

Also agree that what you have bought so far is lovely, and that WIT is well worth signing up to. Also good advice to start observing whose style you like, and start pinning to Pinterest some photos of them. I would also suggest that you create a wish list board on Pinterest and start pinning clothes, shoes and accessories that you like to that. Allows you to see them all together and to keep track of what you have seen that you like.

Luvfizz raises a good point w her mention of cashmere. If creating a new wardrobe, I think you really do need to look at quality fabric composition. IME the good natural fibres last well and continue to look good, whereas acrylic snags, pills, goes limp, creates static etc.

Oooh thanks ladies for 'approving' my buys - I feel a surge of confidence just reading it! Grin

Yes I started to pin afew pics on Pinterest last night, I'll also look at Jennifer aniston like someone mentioned (thank you and yes she always looks amazing!).

Today I'm wearing them skinny jeans with the mango cardi I linked with a plum coloured thin long sleeved t underneath that has a slightly drapey neck, and I have on a mix of chunky bangles (let's see how long that will last). I'm also wearing matchy zebra print knickers and bra Grin

Yes I can do a nice dress with tights and boots but I can never find any dresses that I like/casual/ suit me!

Anyone got any suggestions?

Two dead voles!! Love it Grin

Hi
Go on the internet and go on sites that work out your colours for you. Need to know your skin colour and does you hair have any golden tones in?
Then try the suggested colours recommended for your " colours" and see if you agree. You can probably find colours around the house. Be aware that colours have blue or cold tones in them or they have orange or warm tones. ie......purple can be blue purple or warm purple . I wouldn't spend my money on analysis either. I would choose clothes that will last you for a good five years as classics then you can change them up with cheaper stuff from supermarket fashions each season very cheaply.

Just to add to the colour & style analysis debate, I did it but not with HOC - mine was a lass in Devon trained by first impressions I have always liked clothes but found it immensely useful and have certainly got it right more since. Smile
