i had my hair in plaits last summer, my god dughter did them, and i went shopping. when i asked at the till for a lottery ticket i was asked my age...i was 25 at the time..the age for the lottery is 16....i was soooo embaressed!

What are pigtails anyway ?

My wife uses this phrase to our dd and I have no idea what it means ? I used to think it was a curly sort of bunch - like a pig's tail - but she reckins it's a plait - but that's nothing like a pig's tail is it ?

I wear mine in bunches for yoga as it keeps hair from going crazy and is good for lying down in. And the gym sometimes.
