Do you find that certain colours make you look more *polished/expensive*?

Tried on a toffee/caramel Whistles (and bought it) sweater today.

the salesgirl said it looked good with my highlighted natural colour dirty blonde hair.

certain tweed checks (the lighter spectrum) make me look naice and posh too. Like I've got money fat chance.

does anyone else find this or am I just being daft??

It really can't be done properly on an internet forum. A colour analysis session involves draping scarves from 2 or more colour spectrums to determine which colours suit you best.

It would be pointless for me to have colours done as I'm forever changing my hair colour. For instance when I had blond highlighted hair, coral looked horrendous on me and washed me out, but with mid mahogany hair and a bit of a tan it looked great. I suited greys with blond hair but now it's a ginger colour, I don't. The two colours I've always suited no matter what my hair colour is creams and emerald green as I've olive skin and flecks of green in my blue eyes.

Having your colours done is more to match your skin tone rather than your hair.
