Keratin treatment but I don't want straight hair

Is this treatment aimed purely at those who wish to have poker-straight hair? Mine is naturally wavy but a bit frizzy. I'd like the conditioning benefits but without the straightening process. Is this possible?

You don't get poker straight hair unless its that to start with - mines is wavy, curly if left wet to dry and when I had the keratin done it just turned it into waves and made it easier to dry.

So what does the treatment do for curly hair? Make it wavy instead of curly?

I thought the idea was to seal the product with straightening irons? Laurie did you have to have the straighteners on yours?

You do seal it with irons, but once the three days are up and you wash it, it should be pretty much your normal hair but better.

Mine is naturally wavy, and post-treatment it still needed straightening if I wanted it straight. So if you don't want it straight, you should be fine.

I'm a bit disillusioned with it at the moment because it worked brilliantly the first time I did it, but hardly did anything the second time. No idea why Hmm

So you can't do this if you don't have straighteners, then? I'm guessing a hairdryer wouldn't work.

No you need the heat from the straighteners to seal the product, I'll link in a minute but there was a big thread if you'd like a read.....

wouldn't recommend it for anything but straighter hair. that's what its designed for. the lovely condition is added advantage. sure there must be better products out there just for conditioning.
